Did you see his face when they announced the results? Even though he won he looked like he was going to cry, meanwhile all the others were celebrating and trying to shake his hand. It got even more funny at the restaurant when everyone was congratulating Duane and he got jealous retorting with "well the project manager picked the right people in the right teams".

The candidates are all competing against each other and it's every man for himself so I'm wondering if his skin is thick enough to fight his way through the whole series. I see him going in the next couple of weeks how about you?

I agree. He looked so unhappy when the result was announced. To be fair though, I think Adam is a jerk.

I think there were some bruised egos on the boy's sub-team and they wouldn't forgive Azhar for not going with their idea (and it turned out he was right not to). But yes his reaction to winning was quite subdued and most the credit for winning the task has to go to Dwayne.

I was looking at Azhar's Twitter page earlier though, and it seems he's already quite successful and well known in business circles. He had over 41,000 followers before the series even began. So maybe there's more to him than meets the idea. Perhaps he'll get on better when the teams are mixed up.

I was impressed with Duane. I'm so used to candidates sounding just plain silly when propounding their ideas, and often overly pretentious. When Duane was describing his idea, my first thought was "I'd back this guy".

I liked Azhar but maybe he is so desperate to win that the emotion is too much?!

It was refreshing hearing an Apprentice contestant who didn't sound stupid and flustered.

To be fair, the other blokes got their pre-emptive digs in too early. It didn't appear as if he did much wrong, and I think he made the right call in rejecting the gloves. The bin idea was rubbish (quite literally) but the gloves would have been far worse - not a gadget as Lord Sugar would have said.

I agree, Duane shone in this episode. I thought Azhar was okay but his reaction to winning was a bit odd. He was either trying to be cool and humble or was about to cry. But the boys did well I thought.

For someone who was bragging about being a "master puppetteer" he managed to turn the entire team against him, apart from Stephen. Even the person whose invention he championed without hesitation or even considering anybody else's ideas. That takes some doing. When they were all sat in the restaurant and everyone, even Ricky Martin and Adam, were praising Duane for his invention and crediting him for the win, he decided to announce to them all that they in fact won because he "put the right people in the right places". He's got no clue.

its funny you use the word sensitive as i felt the the guys on the sub team were being bitchy and way too sensitive. they brought emotions into as they didnt feel heard.

the idea for the gloves was terrible (tbh the bin wasnt great) but they acted like he had turned down the idea of the century and lied about the focus group.

haha i felt sorry for him actually. That was harsh what they did in the boardroom. Let's not forget, he was pm and had to make decisions, which he did with the bin idea. He wasn't floundering around...he made a decision which won them the task. WHY THE HECK WERE THE BOYS MOANING?? Very harsh behaviour. But then again, they all seem like a**holes.

Because the focus group (aside from one guy) preferred the gloves. Also, the main team with Azhar hadn't even bothered to try pitching the gloves idea as they had already decided to go with the bin.

Quick question: was it Azhar's idea that only a few people should pitch? Because if so then that might have been another factor.

I can understand their annoyance because the girls' team did exactly the same thing.

I think the glove idea was not original, and a product like it was on the market already. I'm sure i heard that somewhere in the programme.

You could say the same about the bin though.

It's the same with the girls, the splash screen was probably the better product, but the market research was completely ignored.

I think though the girls had the wrong idea with going for a bathroom item, I reckon they would have had more ideas if they went for a kitchen-based product.

Come to think of it, it would be awesome if there was a troll on that show...someone who combined the very best of the worst moments...poe-faced cliche-addled and inept. I still don't know why on the scavenger task when they didn't know what something was, it took until Harry M on the most recent series of Junior Apprentice to think of using a dictionary. Even I would have thought of that!

No, they liked both products but were much more interested in the bin (you could tell by the way they reacted).

I admired him for his reaction tbh. The sub-team (primarily Adam) had been exceptionally vocal about his failings and the whole should-have-gone-with-my-marigolds thing, iirc he even said "no" when LAS asked if Azhar had been a good PM. Yet when the result was announced they were whooping and handshaking - which is fair enough, but I don't imagine much "fair play to you Azhaar you made the right call after all" type of comments were passed between them.

His reaction had an air of "whats all the fuss, the result was never in doubt" ...a super cool customer imo.

I really didnt enjoy Adam & co's reaction and self congratulations as i felt they undermined him and were unsupportive (not to mention bitchy about him) for large chunks of the time. Felt like they were almost wishing failure on him at times - thats maybe what Azhaar felt too

I didnt think they were praising Duane, they were having a dig at Azhar. They essentially made out, it was Duane who won the task not Azhar.

Basically the sub-team were a bunch of tossers.

It was rather funny when Azhar tried to claim the victory was down to him on the reward, much to the amusement of the other guys. Definitely a big ego bruised there.

In a sense it was. If he had selected the marigolds they would have probably lost (although looking at the girls team, I dont think it would have mattered which product they picked - they would have won).

He was the PM, he selected the product to go with. If they had lost, you can bet the sub-team would have turned around with, you picked the product, its your fault.

He should have probably kept it to himself though lol. He seemed to want actual confirmation that he is as great as he hopes/thinks he is. It was a lost cause really trying to get the team to agree with him, I don't think many candidates would go out of their way to credit someone else for a victory.

He should have just been thankful to have won as PM and celebrated with the team the fact they didn't have to face the boardroom, no matter how p*ssed he was.

It would certainly been the more tactful approach. If he survives long enough, he maybe PM again. He will need the boys help, if there are any on his team.

If they had lost and Azhar had brought at least one or (possibly) even two of the boys from the sub team back to the boardroom then, no doubt (when they have the losing team talk before the final three comeback) those sub boys would have gone for Azhar such apppeared to be the two team divide during the task. I think Azhar feeling he had to say what he did at the dining table didn't look great on him because it wasn't him that steered the task to the win and it looked silly him being sulky about Dwayne getting the toast. But having said that, I don't like that other guy from the sub team (the blonde one) because, while he was happy to chink glasses for Dwayne product and not Azhar (which is understandable because the product was key) his attitude of thinking he and his invention was so good probably didn't help Azhar (and his attempt at being PM) during the task all that much either. I think he instigated the disharmony of the two teams (as well as Azhar himself) because I didn't really see the other sub boys as being like that without him heading that feeling of division.
