At the near halfway point of the season, I thought I'd bring back an old twist on the format we used to do from time to time. This week, players will have the chance to win more points if they can get closer to the actual ratings than their randomly drawn head-to-head opponent. This is on top of the usual scoring which stays the same. More details on this head-to-head week including who is playing against who will follow once all the entries are in. Hopefully we get an even number of players, 32 seems to be the average so far.

I just spent one hour on next week's predictions, some appeared easy at first, then I noticed the BGT competition, also Bank Holiday Monday, live sport that may overrun, not to mention live talent shows! I will maybe hold back to see how The Voice ratings go this weekend.

OK - after much agonising over next week's schedule - I've sent my complete stabs in the dark to dylanpartyon, who it turns out disagrees with me on pretty much all of them!
