Where did they find the girls this year?

Very disappointed with the women. With a couple of exceptions like Bilyanna and Miriam, they all seem to be loud-mouthed chav types with no charm or humour.

I think that anyone with a modicum of sense understands how the programme works and steers well clear of the public opprobrium and humiliation they'll get from appearing on this programme. It is now left to those who crave their 15 minutes of fame but consider themselves too intelligent to appear on Big Brother. Stronger business women are less likely to subject themselves to this public scrutiny and resulting criticisms be it their looks, fashions, voice or ideas; they have more respect for themselves.

LOL! Miriam is a very strong candidate, I think! She's invisible, for one. And inaudible, which next to Jenna, makes her a winner!

I thought so, too, until she turned all hysterical in the Board Room.

Completely agree with you. Watching this week I wondered why anybody would bother taking part. I love the tasks and the whole concept of the show but I'd NEVER go on it as you inevitably look a complete **** at some point.

It isn't a great tactic, but Nick looked impressed with Miriam!

Its like X factor or Dancing on Ice or SCD - a risk. However, if you look at Saira, Ruth. Claire, Kate, Helen, Liz, Susan or Michelle it opens new doors, and sometimes new careers that are far more interesting and/or profitable. Even Anita who went out first has her Apprentice blog in the Telegraph and Katie got her name recognition and some TV work. Not sure if they have many male equivalents though, since Tim went on to some success and Syed had his brief reality TV career.
