Yes the girls were crap at brainstorming, but that wasn't the point I was addressing. Please read my post in the context of the post I quoted. In "You're Fired" Maria said "we got stuck with the bathroom because we were too slow". So the boys choosing kitchen first meant the girls were left with bathroom. That's pretty clear. Also, if you watch the original task footage again you see the girl's team more or less accepting they have to design for the bathroom, not choosing it. It's not explicitly stated, but it fits with what Maria said on Your Fired.

I didn't insinuate anything, you mentioned the edit might have hidden slowness by the boys. If you think that then that part of the story told in the episode was a false. The boys were shown quickly opting for kitchen and then quickly choosing the bin, leaving for the design studio while the girls were still thinking. If the boys were actually just as slow as the girls, then that is all untrue. However, Maria's comments to Dara about the girls being too slow backs up what was shown in the episode.
