Given the Rochdale case is now over there's a chance it might show up next Sunday, in the slot suspiciously held by a repeat of episode 3 of Death in Paradise

AFAIK There is still an ongoing case in Carlisle and an investigation with arrests in Oxford. When is the situation going to completely go away?

I think the diplomat (I presume you mean that couple) have their own child back in their own country because Nicki said something about how he'd deny it but that "she knows" (the wife). The English guy that was based their looked in his last scene to be handing over a baby to British couple didn't he so he clearly was a bit of a bad apple (if they came from these special ones). I really liked that story, and not just because it took the characters on a European trip (which I liked the fusion of, of course). Interesting how prositutes, because they sell their bodies, can be used as vessels of other means other than just sex.
The diplomat (the British Embassy official) was involved in the baby trade, taking the babies of prostitutes and selling them to rich people. The guy whose wife "knew" was a Hungarian politician; their child had been bought from the baby traders. He didn't know, but his wife did.
