I think the right people definitely went. It's a shame as I figured Hutchy Muse would be one to look out for. However, of him & Poth I definitely think Poth has the more potential to actually do something next task.

Here is some feedback for Team Reflections...

General observations
As a team I thought you worked very well together, but the three of us all agreed that the idea was a little disappointing considering the experience of the team; it was solid but not the ground-breaking ‘next step’ we hoped for. I kept wishing one of you would have that 'lightbulb' idea, but a win is a win I suppose so well done! I think your excellent teamwork and prep for the pitch helped you massively.

Jess
I think you are a very enthusiastic team member and are obviously very keen to do well in this process. At times you were a little out of your depth after wanting to be PM so badly, and it seemed like Gav was the PM a little, with you going along with all the major decisions. I think you’d have been better served as a team member for the first time out.

Gav
Universally praised in the evaluation returns, and deservedly so for the most part. You really held the team together, and were a driving force behind a lot of the ideas and hard work. We were a bit unsure what would happen if they’d stuck with your ‘Force’ idea as I think you’d have been blamed for a loss, but you recovered nicely once the idea changed.

Justin
Another well-praised team member. Even with some absence, was an asset to the team and made some great contributions, especially immediately prior to the pitch.

Carlisle
Hard-working and passionate, made some good contributions, and was one of the driving forces of the MSN discussions, especially on the afternoon of the pitch. Well done.

Louise
Like Justin, an excellent team member even with absences. On your first appearance on MSN, immediately stopped all of the nonsense about the team name and got straight to business. Your written contributions were outstanding too. A great first showing.

Harry
Was the first person to try to object to the ‘Force’ idea on that first night, which I thought showed great character. I think you had a bit of a rough ride trying to get MSN sorted at first, and there were some comments in the evaluations about you being last minute with your pitch contribution, but I thought you did well for your first appearance.

Amroussi
I think you contributed quite well, so it’s a shame about your absence for the 2nd half of the task. I think you held your ground well when Jess turned on you over change-gate (unfairly IMO when she was happy with the new idea an hour before, which I checked back), so well done for that. However, I thought you were a bit too quiet on the first night.

Katie
I think you were a good PM, Katie. You were very enthusiastic, you delegated well and, although some of your team mates felt that you had a little trouble listening to them, I felt you did a solid job for a first ever attempt. However, I think you delegated yourself very little work compared to everyone else.

Poth
You had the right idea when you suggested that the public vote might be a bad idea, you just needed to push it through more. You should have stuck to your guns and put up a better defence for your opinion.

Val
I don't really know much of what you did other than the celebrity list. From what I recall, you spent much of the group meetings asking if people were getting your messages. You may have had an idea or two as you said, but your biggest contribution (the list of celebrities) was fairly superficial. In the next task, try and do something a bit more useful.

Zak
I would rate you the hardest working member of your team. Despite the fact that you were one of the key contributors to the butchering of your initial concept, you did work solidly.

Narutofan
I like that you took the initiative to make the logo when hutchy hadn't done it when he was asked to. However, some of your challenge ideas were just plain odd. I don't think many people would find watching someone eat their way through a cake all that entertaining.

My general comments
I think it took you a while to focus. I noted that you discussed who should be PM and then veered off into some other discussion before eventually getting back to the subject of the PM before veering off again. However, you did work reasonably well as a team and you coped when you had a couple of no-shows. I also think that you lost sight of what was really important to the task and spent a worrying amount of time discussing things that didn't really matter (like which channel it would be appearing on, who would present it etc). These extra additions are all well and good, but I wouldn't focus on them too much until you've covered everything that the brief asked for first.

I'm sorry I missed this, I've spent the evening sleeping on a table at a party - woops! Anyway, there were a few things I would have disagreed with in the boardroom, the main one being the firing of Hutchy - I think he has been underestimated in this competition, so it's a shame to see him go so soon. The double firing was expected, I guess that means a change of teams next show which I'm looking forward to!
