Another woman who sounds exactly like her is the dreadful winner of The Bachelor who became Gavin Henderson's girlfriend, Carine I think her name is? I couldn't stand her voice or her and only continued watching the program because it was such a high quality, thought provoking series.

Jenna needs to learn to breathe correctly and her voice will improve as will her chances of being taken seriously. But this advice is too late to help her voice being edited out of The Apprentice.”

This will bring the PC brigade down on me but....Nobody who sounds like Jenna is every likely to get into a senior position, particularly in an International company. She seems a nice lady and I thinks it such a pity she doesn't address the problem. She doesn't have to lose her accent, just tone it down and learn to moderate the way she speaks

Of course we do! Penwortham is in Preston! Are you crazy?!

It's awful. It's not the accent, it's like whiny tone of it, ugh.

That's me too! Don't mind her accent at all but her whiny tone does my head in

Her voice sounds like a sheep being done up the arse, seriously where do they get these people? awful voice and I don't think people will take her seriously at all especially if she doesn't win and goes for job interviews can imagine a boss with a clipboard ticking all the stuff that goes against her. Guess what would go against her

It doesn't help, especially when so many people are willing to write her off just because of her voice. But having said that, I've worked for a big, gruff Yorkshireman who makes Adam's accent sound like the Queen's English. The voice is pure stereotype - he, however, is a brilliant businessman who earns as much per year as Sugar is offering to the winner here.

If people can't see beyond the voice, more fool them. But then people who are genuinely that senior in big organisations do not get to where they are without being open-minded.

Having said that, I still don't think Jenna's a very strong candidate overall (though she did well in her element last night). It's not because of how she sounds - it's because what she says often makes very little sense or is in any way constructive.

I'm sick of most of the girls talking as though they are asking a question. It's not just them and it's getting increasinly worse.

I'm from Preston and I sound nothing like Jenna. Or people from Penwortham. It's a distinct accent.

And it's not in Preston, it's its own town facing the city of Preston. It's a part of the South Ribble council.

The accent south of Preston only starts to change once you get part Leyland to Chorley. Councils are arbitrary divisions, the post town of the entire area is Preston and south ribble is a part of Preston, as it is a city. They are suburbs of Preston. I've lived here all of my life and live in penwortham! It is very much the same accent as Preston. You're talking out of your bottom.

Got to agree with the majority here. Very annoying voice.

imo Jenna is emerging as a serious contender for a partnership with Lord Sugar.. I've worked with people from all over the UK and at various levels on the career ladder. In all instances I was interested only in ability and never did I allow an accent to impede their progress. Had I done so I would have lost the opportunity to work with some very able high flyers.

We have to agree to disagree then, I've always thought of Penwortham as being apart, the same way Higher Walton would be. I have friends from there and we sound different to each other. And regardless of opinion, technically speaking it isn't a part of Preston. That is a fact.

I wouldn't normally use Wikipedia to back up a point, but it does seem spot on to me. Regardless of how Penwortham is viewed by whoever lives there, to be technical it isn't Preston.

Also, there's no need to call me crazy or say I'm talking out of my arse for having my own opinion.

When I see and hear Jenna talk, I am always reminded of the animals in 'Creature Comforts' and I just wonder what animal she would be? I think just a big old cat sitting by the fire!

I think her voice is too 'scratchy' to be a cat. To me, a cat's voice would be quite soft and luxurious.

I think Jenna would be a budgie or a parrot or something!

I agree, she is looking increasingly good (apart from not being able to do the numbers under pressure). She looks more at ease now, she even smiled last week!
