I predict that I will know only one or two of the songs.

America seems to have really bad taste in music I never recognsie anything and it all sounds the same lol.

Phillip needs to do something different people keep complaining that Hollie does the same performace ever week but so does Phillip it works both ways right?

Our English born girl (Hollie) needs something more uptempo and suited to her voice this week. She looked very comfortable and sounded great singing Borderline in that medley so here are some ideas:

I would also like to see Jessica try a Donna Summer song perhaps on the radio or macarthur park

Actually I didn't think Hollie did look that comfortable doing Madonna and I would like her to sing Alone as it would push her a bit. I think Skylar needs to sing a song this week to show she can sing a non character country song. I also hope Philip does something different and without his guitar

Elise - Denis (Blondie) Something a little more upbeat for her
Jessica - Under Attack (ABBA) Lesser known (but great) song to avoid unfavourable comparisons, should help her to stand out.
Hollie - Flashdance, What A Feeling (Irene Cara) About time she went uptempo, vocally it'd work well!
Skylar - 99 Red Balloons (Nena) Sorry Jimmy, she doesn't have the range for a more challenging song.
Deandre - Working My Way Back To You (The Spinners) - Fun, different from last week, should suit his voice
Joshua - Wanna Be Starting Something (Michael Jackson) Something more memorable for him - I love the spoken lyrics in the middle of this song!
Colton - A Little Respect (Erasure) Worked well when Wheatus covered it so I think a bit more weaking could give Colton the standout performance he nees!
Phillip - All I Want Is You (U2) Not seen much of his softer side yet, should suit his voice too
