Let It Go is the second single to come from her still untitled second album.

She also drops hints about Album two's sound which is said to be inspired by 90's dance music.

I am worried

The sound of album 2 is meant to be 90's dance music. Well elephant was pure trash and nothing like 90's dance music and if Guetta is doing single 2, i doubt he can emulate 90's dance music.

Erm...he does this all the time....Sweat with Snoop Dogg samples a massive 90s tune and all his work has 90s/House influences....he could be the perfect guy for this sound...

Poor representation of 90's dance music then. She should of joined up with Naughty boy, who gave Massive attack vibes on some of Emeli sande's songs.

I do like David Guetta, but is his 'sound' becoming over exposed? Could she have just jumped on the bandwagon a little late?

If it's a Guetta track, it'll either be really good (Titanium, When Love Takes Over) or really uninspired/lazy (Night Of Your Life, LaserLight) though it'll most likely be a hit whatever the case, which is what she needs right now.

We won't know whether it is a hit or a miss until we hear it, to be fair.

Why is she talking 'Single 2' when 'Single 1' has only just been released?

Single 1 is done and dusted...it's onto the next one now...she's always said that the singles were going to be back to back before this album.

She said months ago that her singles would be back to back. This is common in the UK. Broken heels was out 2 months after bad boys. The Saturdays All Fired Up was on the radio just after Notorious came out, I remember hearing it. Also they have to create hype.

She's been promoting for over a month. The song premiered in January so she can't keep flogging the same thing for too long...

I can't wait to see what she serves up this time anyway..

Not really...to be fair. If a single is a hit...do you know what I mean?

A rapid release of tracks screams..."panic" and "flop" to me!

An attempt at positive spin by the fan...atics I feel.

In some cases, yes and some no.

Alot of the bigger popstars tend to release a second single very quickly after the first (e.g. Lady Gaga Born This Way/Judas, Rihanna We Found Love/You Da One). And then sometimes they release a single quite quickly after a failing single to keep them in the spotlight and keep the album from tanking.

I think what Alexandra's team are doing is trying to keep the momentum going and doing back to back singles (which I think she said about doing this even before Elephant was released) however if they don't plan on releasing the album of the back of this next single I don't see why they're doing it? She'll have enough publicity and exposure to get decent first week sales of the back of these two singles so what are they waiting for.

From what she's been saying, I'm not sure the album is ready yet...she only decided a title a week or so ago.....I have a feeling that single 3 and the album will drop around the same time...

She mentioned back to back singles before Elephant premiered, so it's not to do with that.

They said at the end of April (RCA) her album has to be done. So single 2 could be the proper lead single, for a June album. She said to a fan on twitter that the album would be coming sooner than we think. So early June makes sense.
