You're still young, no-one really ever figures out what they want to do, outside of the lawyers, doctors, architects and so on...

The biggest thing is getting some experience, I can probably help you there if you're interested.

Yeah, but I just don't want to go to college and do a course then keep falling out of flavour with them.

Christ I need experience for work, apparently you need qualifications to lift boxes on to a conveyor belt these days

No you don't.

You'd need to know the best and safest way to work, but that'd be it!

It's always good to try and get experience in a field you want to work in, it gives a good impression for when you are looking for work.

Maybe now is the time to start thinking about the future, nothing has to be completely fixed though.

Degrees like maths, or a science, or even English often lead into careers well outside of the scope of those subjects, because of the fact that they give you very good transferable skills.

That's why I'm concentrating on English/Maths at school, in fact that's probably why I've went back to school, jobs are few and far between as it is.

If you don't then how come I've put in (probably not enough recently) 3 applications in to Argos, Poundland and HMV about 5 weeks ago and not one of them got back to me?

They tend only to contact the successful applicants. You could write to them asking for feed back though.

You're age could be a factor too, are you still under 18? Sorry I'm bad with ages, but there's legislation in regards to under 18s that mean many can't be bothered with the hassle of employing them...little things such as extra breaks and so on..

Sorry, I fell asleep myself lol.

You should try Sainsburys they tend to take on people under 18 quite a bit.

Okay this is going to sound odd, but err, well honestly I'm confused.

So we recently took on a transfer student and he's kind of cute. We talked a little bit, because I had to show him how to do something (I didn't really, I just used it as an excuse to talk to him), anyway, we haven't really talked since.

I sign into Grindr every so often, and I see him on there, we never talk to each other on there though.

Whenever I see him at work, he smiles, and we might say hi to each other or whatever.

Anyway, when I got back from holiday, one of my girly friends was like, "Omgosh, I have to tell you something!!"

And I was like umm, okay, and then she told me how he'd asked where I was..

I guess I'm just trying to figure out why he'd ask where I was..

I know I could probably just go ask him, but I dunno, that'd be awkward, and also, like, we've hardly talked lately.

I was dressed up yesterday for Halloween, and encountered him, he just gave me this look, and walked off.

I get the feeling he was rather unimpressed with it.

Hmm that's an odd one Jason. Do you like him? Maybe you should ask him out for a coffee or something? You haven't got anything to lose.

Also, just out of curiosity, are you still in touch with Luke (not our banned one, the one from years back. ), David, J (I never knew his name) and I can't remember if there were any others (discounting Paul and Dave as I'm still aware of their existence myself)?

I can appreciate the confusion Cakey.

On one positive side, if he's on Grinder then I guess you at least know the answer that irritates many a gay; "is he or isn't he?"

I can't say for certain that his asking of your whereabouts confirms that he like-likes you, but its by no means a bad thing if he was just asking out of friendship.

As for the "look", he may just not be into the whole Hallowe'en thing. I guess you could use the costume as a conversation starter next time you see him. Something along the lines of "back in the normal outfits" you know the drill I'm sure.

And who knows where that conversation goes. It may very well lead to the coffee Adam suggested above. Whatever you decide to do.. Good Luck!

I crap at starting conversations, let alone flirty ones. I sort of tried the other day and it all fell flat.

Yeah to reiterate what everyone else said, just try talking to him Jase, you've got nothing to lose

Better than trying to look cute and find excuses to be around them (this person right here)

I'm still in touch with David, but not the others.

I still talk with Dave occasionally too, why, if I can ask ?

Actually I still talk to both Dan's too if you remember them..

Well I suppose it's hard to keep things quiet at work, so if he said no, it'd be awkward, and technically, it'd be a bit unprofessional of me...I'm not directly in charge of him, but sometimes I find myself in charge of him, if that makes sense..

I'm hardly shy, in fact I'm pretty much the opposite, except when it comes to people I find attractive. It's very frustrating...most of the time I don't shut up, but I'm reduced to stutters at the sight of a pretty guy...

Well he didn't show up today...naughty boy lol, so any chance of trying to redeem myself in regards to the outfit is gone I think...

Oh okay fair enough. There were two Dans, Telford Dan and Plymouth Dan, Telford Dan's username reminded me of the word mansex and he finally came screaming out of the closet lol.

I'm not good at remembering usernames.

Haha, I remember 'mansex'. Was his username not based on some game character with some letters swapped/changed? Screaming out of the closet?...

Went out on Halloween and seen a Mr. Blobby and a Jimmy Savile or two.

Well try to get better

My ex ex phoned earlier (Darry being my ex, David was before him) and he's saying he's off the drugs and he wants to meet up. I'm so unsure of what to do, he sounded so sincere, but then how do I know that's not an act? he's highly manipulative and the things he did while we were together, some of it was borderline psychotic behaviour :/

Eek! I've been rumbled! Lol Yeah I've not long got into the game. Amazing how much you can customise the game. You a player?

And 'Wiggay'? What are you trying to imply?

Saw a bloke today who looked like Zac Quinto. Certainly a highlight of the day.

It was the iPad version that convinced me to go for Sims3... guess your plan worked EA. *shakes fist*

Sometimes the Sims do funny things. I had one who liked to play his guitar in the garage in his underwear.

Well they sort of told you the big scandal that happened last week.

I was surprised, Rob Collier is quite nice out of his valet livery.
