I sometimes wonder whether I should just go slag around, I mean, it wouldn't be particularly difficult to do, and I've had the offers before, but I've never wanted to compromise my values before.

It's not like I'd say no if it came with the right person. But as much as I want one I'm also happy not to be in one.

I guess it's just because I think my brothers and flatmates relationships seems very clingy and too much as they both practically live together. So it kinda of puts me off that you one can become so codependent. They both aren't in very long either, flatmates is only 3 months but it feels like way longer...! My flatmate and brother aren't in the same relationship btw xD

Yeah, I mean it makes them happy, so who am I to begrudge that. But when I stand back and look at it it just feels too much for me. Not everyone will be like that though - so I guess I'm just unfortunate (from my PoV) to witness both, so closely all the time. Flatmate when I'm here and brother when I'm home. They are all very 24/7.

See, what's weird is while in general, I do want someone I also like my independence. I think its more as a case of not being a super open, confident person though. So I'd rather not fully commit to something if I can't see it lasting.
