Back from Oxford, had a bit of an emotional weekend, so I'm not great right now. Gonna catch up on the voice I think.

I can't help on the tie front but it's a beautiful suit. I'm going to find my prom suit this week but I have no idea what I want!

I think a dark tie would work well. Take if you don't have a Tie rack (do they still exist?) near you. I would just go around mens stores and just see. Don't do it online, you'll only be disappointed when it's the wrong colour.

I hate kilts! We've been out prom shopping already but my Mum took me to a kilt shop and I was like "I dont want a kilt".Four hours later and she finally got the message!

I kind of think the opposite. I think with those colours, you want to brighten up..

A pastel colour could work well, or even something like this.

Aww what's up?

I had a bit of a FML day yesterday too with my idiot parents, one minute I'm supposed to get a job, then it's all "Your throwing your life away to work for minimum wage" I mean seriously? c'mon to f**k.

They're giving you mixed messages there, that's not fair. I think anyone with ambition, drive and potential can work their way up.

Look at me, I started out on a checkout, and now I'm part of my stores management team..I was never happy just settling on the checkouts.

Things just got on top of me at work, I got described as unfeeling, and not understanding, because I said people should leave their personal problems off the shop-floor...

I ended up trying to justify myself, which I shouldn't have, because my point was a fair point on it's own, but I just pointed out that I do have problems but I don't bring them to work, but because I mentioned what it was, it made me emotional all day..

Also, because of the way I talk, people write me off as rude, or whatever, without actually noticing why I had to say something in the first place.

Do your job properly, and I'll leave you alone...

It's so annoying when they do that. They always jump from one argument to another. It's not valid to use an argument which you said was invalid last week :S Parents annoy me

I've only ordered a tie once offline and never again!! I was thinking of dark ties but wasn't sure which dark colour to go for We used to have a Tie Rack but that's shut down now. I'm pretty sure Manchester has one though, so I'll have a look there next weekend!

I've only ever worn a kilt once and must say, I much prefer suits...

Ahh sorry to hear work was rather crap Cakey Totally agree with you though that personal problems should be left outside of work! It's such a pain when they get brought into work and then it makes things uncomfortable for the rest of the team!

BIB - Silly people! You're a very wise person and they should definitely pay attention to what you're saying!!

I know!

My dad isn't as bad but my mum is right on my case, speaking to me as if I don't really take anything seriously, she always said "never give up" and "we'll support you no matter what", she's contradicting herself as she ISN'T supporting me no matter what and she's claiming that by getting a job for a year and then trying for college again next year is wasting my life. She wants me to go back to school because they lose child tax credits unless I either stay at school or get into college, so I don't believe it's about me at all, it's about the money.

I was quite happy to go where life takes me up until she started putting me down, seems like anything I do isn't bloody good enough tbh.

They're bloody stubborn that's for sure, and it's even more annoying when you're right and they won't just drop it, they always have to know better

Hai all!

I don't know if you'll remember me, but I'm an old friend of BBWorldwidefan and Black Dagger, and it's the latter I have news about

Black Dagger (being an outspoken individual) has found himself lauded with a two week ban after making a remark about Amanda Holden, he'll see you all when his ban is lifted!

Pastels really should be in more peoples wardrobes if you ask me, especially in spring.

Yeah, the thing that frustrates me about it, is I always try to teach/coach, and yes, I'm abrupt, even occasionally rude, but I just wish they'd think about why..

I don't want to cause trouble here, but, it's your life Jack. Yes, your parents want the best for you, and for you to be happy and successful, but only you will know what will get you there.

If you'd like to work for a bit do it, but, I'll say this, it will be hard to get back into college...things can be very different in a year.

It's up to you though x
