Pastels really should be in more peoples wardrobes if you ask me, especially in spring
I have quite a bit of pastels, just didn't think of pairing them for this
Yeah, the thing that frustrates me about it, is I always try to teach/coach, and yes, I'm abrupt, even occasionally rude, but I just wish they'd think about why..
Ahh it's so annoying when people refuse to even think about why people do certain things/act in a specific way Hopefully the next time you're in work they'll have a better attitude and leave their problems outside of work!!

Angry sex sounds like the solution here!

Oh okay, that's cool, nothing annoys me more than bad style.

Okay, that's a lie, but it's pretty close to the truth lol.

Yeah I think it's just been an emotional time for me lately, usually I'm okay, so yeah, I think it will be better.

Awww, I hope your exam goes well tomorrow

I'll give you the same sleeping advice I gave Cakey the other week - read a book and try not to close your eyes... Make them close naturally. Or give yourself a form of 'massage' was also advised to relieve your tension...

ps, you have to watch Revenge! It's so good!!!

Thanks Jav, it went ok overall I think. I know there's a few more minor points I could've written a bit more in depth for the compulsory question and had to rectify a small error on my optional question but overall I think I've done enough to get a good mark on it

Haha well I didn't rely on the latter and decided to just pop on some Grey's instead until I eventually dozed off

Haha my summer is gonna be filled with catching up on all these shows you recommend, but I'll need to check this one out too Btw is this the one that has Rebecca from Brothers & Sisters as one of the main characters? If so, I've seen it advertised and it looks so good!! I've also just ordered the complete Buffy today too as I've been especially recommended that by my friend who swears its his all time favourite show that I must see so I hope it lives up to expectations
Thanks Jack

Isn't it ironic that you're now free whereas I was bragging about it for months... and now I may have to go back to school, thats gonna be so awful, walking through the gates and everyone wondering what the f**k I'm doing there and having to explain... I've already said my goodbyes

Sounds like Obama has now given his backing to same-sex marriage. Probably easier said than done.

Urgh, don't get me started on NC there's been idiots flashing up on my fb feed on how there's nothing wrong with the result etc Safe to say there was a mini debate on a friends fb update about the shit decision in NC!
I hope the exam went well

Thanks Jack!! After quickly reading your first few words earlier, I've had this playing in my head all evening

Try think and stay positive hun From experience, things just seem to have a funny way of working themselves out and they'll probably do the same for you! They may not necessarily pan out in the way you expect, whether that's going college or back to school, but I'm sure that whatever it is you're wanting to achieve in the long run that you will succeed with it.

If I'm not mistaken I think I saw you mention you were interested in psychology and that's why you wanted to go college to do that. If you really wanted to pursue psychology, you could always consider applying for it at uni when you're old enough and if you don't have the pre-requisites from college etc, there's always the option of the foundation year which many people do to cover this so it can still be possible for you to get to do what you want. Either way, you seem like a driven wee chap who won't take shit from no one so I'm sure you'll definitely end up where you want to be

Hmm, the cynic in me, whilst being pleased that he's taken this stance, wonders whether it's for the right reasons. I suppose I should just be grateful he's openly spoke out in favour of it tbh, but the timing is a bit suspect, kinda like he's trying to regain that whole 'yes we can' mentality fired back up...

North Carolina - Where you can marry your cousin, just not your gay one.

Yeah BO is certainly in election mode. They're already saying he's hurt himself in Dixie, but that's no surprise, in fact par for the course. And given the way their system is over there I can't see him being able to make it law nationwide, at least not without a fight.

I guess we should be thankful, (aiming to be bipartisan here) that all three main parties do support us in one way or another. (Although it's far from perfect and there are past issues).

It's a shame that marriage wasn't included in today's Queen's Speech.. however I feel that we're much further down the line that the States.

Agian, not trying to start a political debate (there's a heckuva lot of threads already dedicated to the subject).

Can't help but feel that Biden pushed him into this one though I am very happy that he has came out in support of it. Like GG says, I can't help but suspect that he's doing all this for political gain. Then again, a good thing done with bad intentions is still a good thing on the whole.

Btw I hope the exam went well GG!

I have an interview for technical theatre tomorrow. I was all set to do history at uni but after stage managing a few productions, I think I want to do that instead. Hate having to make decisions!

I've seen so many topical ecards on this like this one and this one

Well like I say, I'm trying not to be cynical but ya know I can't help it in the circumstances BIB - he made it expressly clear it was HIS view that it should be legal but that it's up to the independent states to decide what they want to do so I highly doubt he will interfere with that process as let's face it, that'll rock the boat too much

Oh definitely, with such key players in his cabinet and VP in support of it, it seemed inevitable it would happen eventually that BO would support it, it was just a case of waiting for the opportune moment et voila it presented itself!

Too true, it may be as I suspect done for political gain instead of his honest beliefs, but like you say, it's still a good thing on the whole so I can accept it.

Thanks Daz, it did! Good luck to you in your coming exams

Oooh that sounds really interesting! Not quite sure what all it entails but good luck for it and hope you're successful with it Haha totally know what you mean about making decisions, can be so stressful at times!

It's the way their constitution is set up. I mean he could make it federal law, but he'd lose his presidency.

It's frustrating though, especially when, for example, in New Jersey, it gets through in a referendum, and a nob jockey of a governor can just veto it...

Haha I get like that when watching certain shows and get completely carried away I may just need to watch out for this show then and add it to my list

Ooh did Play re-deliver a new one to you then? Or did you have to get it elsewhere?

Spoiler
that person just annoys the shit outta me!

Did I say on here?8 can't remember if I did... Nah. They gave me a full refund then tried to get me to buy another one. Wouldn't be a problem expect it was double in price now! Got it on eBay for the original price.

Haha that's who I was hoping would fail! I don't know why but I didn't really warm to them as a character as the series have gone by, not even when they were with the amazing Little Grey!!

That is genuinely heartbreaking to watch something like that it brought a tear to my eye just from seeing how vicious and cruel his parents have been with their narrow minded attitudes It makes you realise just how lucky you are and makes you really appreciate having a supportive family behind you, knowing they're there for you no matter what etc.

It made me cry too, was a hard watch. Sadly, there are plenty out there with similar stories.

Definitely a hard watch and unfortunately that reality is true It's so frustrating knowing that's the case because of stupid attitudes and the fact that so much suffering can be caused from their narrow mindedness.
