Yeah, the thing that frustrates me about it, is I always try to teach/coach, and yes, I'm abrupt, even occasionally rude, but I just wish they'd think about why..
Ahh it's so annoying when people refuse to even think about why people do certain things/act in a specific way Hopefully the next time you're in work they'll have a better attitude and leave their problems outside of work!!

Why is it when you really want to get some sleep you never can ![]() ![]() I'll give you the same sleeping advice I gave Cakey the other week - read a book and try not to close your eyes... Make them close naturally. Or give yourself a form of 'massage' was also advised to relieve your tension... ![]() ps, you have to watch Revenge! It's so good!!!

Btw is this the one that has Rebecca from Brothers & Sisters as one of the main characters? If so, I've seen it advertised and it looks so good!! I've also just ordered the complete Buffy today too as I've been especially recommended that by my friend who swears its his all time favourite show that I must see so I hope it lives up to expectations

Sounds like Obama has now given his backing to same-sex marriage. Probably easier said than done.

I've already said my goodbyes ![]() Try think and stay positive hun From experience, things just seem to have a funny way of working themselves out and they'll probably do the same for you! They may not necessarily pan out in the way you expect, whether that's going college or back to school, but I'm sure that whatever it is you're wanting to achieve in the long run that you will succeed with it.If I'm not mistaken I think I saw you mention you were interested in psychology and that's why you wanted to go college to do that. If you really wanted to pursue psychology, you could always consider applying for it at uni when you're old enough and if you don't have the pre-requisites from college etc, there's always the option of the foundation year which many people do to cover this so it can still be possible for you to get to do what you want. Either way, you seem like a driven wee chap who won't take shit from no one so I'm sure you'll definitely end up where you want to be ![]() Quote:

Thanks Wiggy
![]() Urgh, don't get me started on NC ...... Hmm, the cynic in me, whilst being pleased that he's taken this stance, wonders whether it's for the right reasons. I suppose I should just be grateful he's openly spoke out in favour of it tbh, but the timing is a bit suspect, kinda like he's trying to regain that whole 'yes we can' mentality fired back up... ![]() Yeah BO is certainly in election mode. They're already saying he's hurt himself in Dixie, but that's no surprise, in fact par for the course. And given the way their system is over there I can't see him being able to make it law nationwide, at least not without a fight. I guess we should be thankful, (aiming to be bipartisan here) that all three main parties do support us in one way or another. (Although it's far from perfect and there are past issues). It's a shame that marriage wasn't included in today's Queen's Speech.. however I feel that we're much further down the line that the States. Agian, not trying to start a political debate (there's a heckuva lot of threads already dedicated to the subject).

Btw I hope the exam went well GG! I have an interview for technical theatre tomorrow. I was all set to do history at uni but after stage managing a few productions, I think I want to do that instead. Hate having to make decisions! |

Well like I say, I'm trying not to be cynical but ya know I can't help it in the circumstances BIB - he made it expressly clear it was HIS view that it should be legal but that it's up to the independent states to decide what they want to do so I highly doubt he will interfere with that process as let's face it, that'll rock the boat too much Quote:
Can't help but feel that Biden pushed him into this one though I am very happy that he has came out in support of it. Like GG says, I can't help but suspect that he's doing all this for political gain. Then again, a good thing done with bad intentions is still a good thing on the whole.
Too true, it may be as I suspect done for political gain instead of his honest beliefs, but like you say, it's still a good thing on the whole so I can accept it. Quote:

Thanks Daz, it did! Good luck to you in your coming exams ![]() Quote:

It's the way their constitution is set up. I mean he could make it federal law, but he'd lose his presidency.

It is so frustrating especially when shit like this happens : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR9gyloyOjM&feature
it brought a tear to my eye just from seeing how vicious and cruel his parents have been with their narrow minded attitudes It makes you realise just how lucky you are and makes you really appreciate having a supportive family behind you, knowing they're there for you no matter what etc.

It made me cry too, was a hard watch. Sadly, there are plenty out there with similar stories.
It's so frustrating knowing that's the case because of stupid attitudes and the fact that so much suffering can be caused from their narrow mindedness.
