Yeah, my friend gave me a leaflet on it. Never been to a Pride event before, not really sure if I would like it tbh. Then again it might be worth it just to see the Cheeky girls

Can't say I'll be making a dash to one of these events any time soon.
Random story.. friend of mine had to work, but his parents went to a Pride event in his place.

Oooh, went to a Speedway today. Which can only be described as similar to dirt biking... It was my first time as such an event and it was pretty cool I have to say.

Can't wait for the Apprentice tonight. Can't decide who I want to win out of the three boys. Right now I think Ricky is my favourite but every hour I flip flop from him to Tom and then Nick only to get back to him

Hey guys
Is everyone having a good bank holiday weekend?I've just got back from a nice couple of days in London with the man. We saw Coldplay on Friday and went to G-A-Y last night where Alexandra Burke was on. I had about 4 hours sleep between getting in at about 6 this morning and catching the train back to Staffs at 12...

It sounds cool, I've never been to one but I've seen the shows advertised on bill boards and what not and have always wanted to go to one.Seems like a lot of fun but whenever I bring it up, my friends look at me like I'm mad.
![]() Its by Springburn and its alright. Yeah its 4 guys going round a track 4 times but you do get quite into it. ![]() Quote:

I thought it was awesome! We were dancing in the cheesy music room until 5-ish in the end. I've never stayed out that late before... Lol! Wasn't such a fan of Alexandra, she was alright, but the night in general was a good one.

I'm guessing it has a specific name?
Yes, it's definitely really good in there. I want to sleep for a long stretch now and consume no alcohol for a while...Heaven has been there for a while, they had the house floor (bottom floor), pop (middle floor), and rnb (top/other floor), and when G-A-Y is there, it's not that different really, except you don't really get the house stuff.. |

Anyone been watching the Jubilee celebrations? Caught some of it today and even though I wouldn't really define myself as a Royalist, I'm loving the coverage and seeing everyone coming together to celebrate the Queens Jubilee ![]() Quote:
Indeed I did! We also went to the viaduct where the Harry Potter films uses for the Hogwarts Express!

but I was really pleased for Leanne winning She was amazing in the final and if the "she's gonna flop like Michelle McManus" jibes do come to pass, then I'm even more happy she's got the record deal now, as there's a very good chance that the other finalists will get snapped up anyway, which may not have happened with Leanne due to her supposedly not being as 'individual' as the others

Oh, I'm happy with the result. Have to be honest, I thought they wee all hotties. Tbh, Adam was my guilty hotty of the series
![]() ![]() I'd preferred Tom or Nick to win tbh... Nick seemed like the most competent with his business plan. Jade's was just awful! Quote:
Pleased you had a good time up there Jav! Btw, random I know, but did you happen to post a pic of the Hogwarts Express viaduct or have I imagined seeing that either on my twitter/fb timeline

I take it you've been to one before?PS, been watching any of the French Open? I missed the first week (the boring half anyways ![]() ![]() ) but I'm intending on full on tennis days this week when I can! ![]() BTW, is it true you can get West End musical tickets generally much cheaper on the night in London? Obviously your taking a risk with whats available but has anyone done this before? Any recommendations? |

After the amount she's gone on about how great her business plan was etc when she was in the board room bottom 3 over the series I was really expecting her business plan to be great, which would partly explain why she'd been kept till the final (bit like Tom the inventor last year!) but it was just awful ![]() Quote:
Erm, someone tagged a photo of all of us on fb by the viaduct. I just tweeted the viaduct by itself on twitter.
Ahh it's on twitter I've seen it then Knew I wasn't imagining it!!Quote:
Haha, well its true... Haha there really isn't an exciting way to describe speedway I suppose I take it you've been to one before?
Yeah, one of the speedway grounds is local to us and I've seen it a fair bit on TV as Dad watches speedway on Sky etc whenever it's on.Quote:

Yup I was lucky enough to catch both Serena ( ) and Venus being knocked out And I'm pleased to see Sharapova looks on form too from her previous games as I'd love her to win her first FO and get a Grand Slam (though the amount of breaks in this current match is weird and I hope she can hold serve in this game and serve out the first set!!).Edit: She did xD Quote:

I'm not sure about buying them on the night time as I've not done this before but I know you can purchase the heavily discounted tickets during the day at certain time slots from booths in the WE (it's short notice and they only have certain show tickets on certain days etc but still it's a great discount). I've done the latter before albeit years ago now but we found our seats considering they were the discounted ones etc were really good seats ![]() Are you wanting any musical or do you have some in mind and want recommendations from those you're considering? If any, although I haven't seen them yet, I hear that Matilda (which also won loads at the Olivier's) and Shrek are getting rave reviews and are relatively new shows in the WE. Quote:

Sharapova can be pretty unpredictable - hopefully she'll get through today though. Yeah, the amount of breaks is ridiculous. Though last night they seemed to be fine. I got a good 30/40minutes straight at around 8pm before they cut off for the night.Edit: She did xD I've turned off the match just now to catch the finale of Game of Thrones. Will turn on to watch the Murray/Gasquet later. Quote:

I'll ask some friends who I think done it a few weeks ago. So did you go to a matinee show or do you just mean your went during the day to buy them for the evening showing?Quote:
