There's a reason why the goodbye is so emotional, it's beautiful

Does anyone watch Don't Trust the B---h in Apt. 23? Krysten Ritter is oficially god-like now

Me! I've kinda gave up on 2 Broke Girls for the time being... but Apartment 23 is one of my new fans. And yes, Krysten Ritter is awesome and her character is so cool.

Hahaha, you know what I think about this! Rosel was on FIRE! I hope he gets to the 4th round at least before he flops out tbh... But people will always now hold a high impression of him due to his feat tonight... I do wonder what his ranking will now be... I assume he has to rise a bit...

edit: Just looked, he could rise to around 77. Thats only if no one else between 77 and 99 are still in

Upon reflection, I'm kinda pleased in a way as it's definitely one large threat removed for Murray (though unfortunately he's still got way too many threats remaining)!! Rosol really was on fire, though I lol-ed whilst reading that thread you mentioned earlier I have a feeling he's gonna flop in his next match though

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think there are many left from that section of the rankings!

I'm so happy, I saw my little nephew for the first time!

I'm still getting used to the fact his name is Quinn but I'll get over it

You sometimes forget how tiny babies are, but he feel asleep in my arms which was so cute, I must have magic in my hands

I know what you mean, they quietly bring her back to full beauty for season six!

I know, half way through season six now!
Spoiler
I think season four is up high for the tornado episode alone but I did really enjoy season five with the whole demented Dave. I think season three was the season I liked least tbh.

Thank you x I had a great night at prom - we got all the teachers up to moves like jagger, was hilarious!

Have to agree with BB, I think you'd make a great parent going by how supportive you can be on this. I think I would quite like to be a parent at some point but for now just babysitting is enough

Well done to the both of you! That's brilliant x I was up at Glasgow uni this week and a graduation was on - they all looked fab!

I quite like that name and I'm guessing it'll be quite unique which is always good! Aww that does sound really cute

P.S. I had to remove some smilies from posts to meet the limit!

Ja, I'm sure the more I see of him the name will grow on me

I do have an occasional soppy side for little baba's, as much as I'd love to play the cold and cool card, it is hard to have that attitude towards something as cute as that.

And the fact my nieces are all doting on him and arguing over who gets to clean him up when he pukes is sweet too

Aww, it's great seeing wee yin's for the first time I still remember the day I got to meet both my wee niece and nephew when they were tiny bundles

lol some of my family were like that with my nephew initially but now it's hard to imagine him being called anything else!!

Haha your sister will love that he falls asleep for you On call babysitter sorted...it'll be like that episode of Friends where Monica's the one who always gets Emma to sleep (sorry couldn't resist the Friends reference there )!

Yeah, s3 was a great season (plus it features Bang which has to be one of the best ever episodes!!)

It really will! It'll become like the norm and it'll soon be weird to even think he could've been named anything else!

lol I know what you mean about baba's!! They have this way of turning you into a mushy, broody person

Haha I'm sure you're part of that doting and arguing with them too Jackary Enjoy spending time with your new wee nephew, he'll become a tantrum throwing two year old in no time!!

No solid plans really. I've got a meeting at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff on Tuesday though. I applied for work experience there - they offers a writers workshop for a week and they rang me up the other day and said they want to meet me and see my writing! So I really hope something comes of that! I've just printed off two of my scripts today that I've written - I really don't know what to think of them, as I'm the only one that has read them!

I've also applied for an admin job at my local newspaper and I've been applying everywhere generally. I want to save up some money and apply for an MA.

I'm living back at home for the minute, but when I have enough money I'm going to look at renting somewhere (probably in Cardiff or Bristol).

How's your job going?

Ahh that's great!! Sounds like you've got your options open which is good! My only advice is not to rush into anything... the decisions you make this year will affect the rest of your life Not that I mean to scare you

My job's good. It's the rest of my life that's shit

Better make the right decisions this year then! I have a habit of being terribly indecisive then making the wrong decision. Just getting some kind of job that I like would be good for now. I want to save up and move out - I love being back home for a bit but I do really miss the independence of living on my own.

Aw no why is the rest of your life shit?

Haha we really are! How's things with everyone?

Hope your meeting at the theatre went well Dave

I really should be asleep right now though I think I've gone past the point of tiredness into the wide awake zone I've only been on placement a couple days (and feel like I'm turning into an old person already ) and I've already realised how much I took my beloved student life (and even better lie-ins!) for granted I love the placement don't get me wrong (and I could totally see myself working here ) but I'm totally like an old person trapped in a young body!! When I got back to my flat this evening after work and drinks, all I wanted was to just grab a shower and crash as I felt so drained  I needs to find a way of getting my energy back as I'm not ready to turn into an old person just yet Anyway, I must go try force myself to sleep else I'll feel like a pensioner tomorrow evening G'night to anyone still around

I'm the same sometimes, sometimes I feel 17 going on 77

Apart from seeing Quinn I'm just not doing anything, my friends must think I've sunk off the face of the earth of something

I've stupidly gone and signed myself up to a 'Call My Bluff...' blindfolded wine tasting competition thingy and I'm sooo gonna let my team down I don't even like wine in general and it's safe to say I'm gonna be clueless when they start describing the wines to me and I've to tell them which one I've just tasted

Don't suppose we have any wine lovers in here who are in a generous enough mood to kindly pass on some useful tips at identifying different wines??

Keep your mouth open when you breathe in the wine, swirl it around your mouth, and spit, the go for a second taste. The power of suggestion is SO strong, if someone says they taste cranberries, you're gonna taste them lol, even if they're not there, so ignore everyone else.

I'm not great on identifying whites, but I can sort of help you with reds/roses..?

Haha I'm such an amateur at this I really should come with a warning label for my team!! Thanks for the tips though As for the power of suggestion, I'm gonna have 3 people giving me a description (2 of them deliberately lying) and I've to guess who's telling the truth to win How can I avoid/not get caught out by this power of suggestion

Any help you can give would be much appreciated as I literally am clueless with wines! When I drink, I'm always either on cocktails or vodka lemonade etc I don't do the more 'sophisticated' route of wines or the 'manly' beers

Edit: there's no rush btw if you can help me as the competition isn't until next Thursday so I've time to swot up on wines and hopefully 'fake it till I make it'

I'm the same really.

My knowledge on wine goes as far as knowing that white tastes like piss, rose is quite a nice but sou touch, and red is a big NoNo, gets me all depressed

What you have to do is taste it before they give you the description! Bit hard blindfolded but yeah..

You'll probably find that European wines are classified by their region, and like the south American, australian and south African ones are classified by the grape.

I think I've drank white wine once so I'll be no help!

So how are all our weekends looking? I'm settling in to watch Harry Judd on the Million Pound Drop - got to get my eye candy somehow!
