The schools go back next week I believe but luckily I've finished all six years I was thinking about applying to the Conservatoire (well remembered btw ) but decided against it and applied for History at Glasgow and Strathclyde. Luckily I got the results I needed this week so I'm heading off to Glasgow Uni in September - over the moon!!!
Glasgow Uni, ewwwwwwww!
Congrats I actually know someone going into forth year doing History Know what other 2 areas your looking into yet?

They really are Particularly loving the Nole one It reminded me of the video where he does the skit of Masha
Haha, did you catch the video where Masha was trying to knock something from Noles head an got his crotch instead... It was very bad quality though...

I should say the same about Strathclyde now It's funny, my best friend is going to do History at Strathclyde and we've been joking about how we can no longer be firends

I was thinking Politics and Psychology but I'm not sure. What subjects do you take?

Haha, you don't want to tarnish the friendship yet It can be good to have contacts for getting into other Unions

I also know someone doing single psychology heading into forth year. She enjoys it enough. I took part in one of her experiments earlier this year...

Mines is maths, stats and management science.

Sad times, Mat Mitcham is out of the diving. He is 13th so hopefully someone pulls out by tonight... Preferably a Chinese diver.

Yeah, that's a massive benefit I really like the look of the QM up at Glasgow, have you been in?

I love doing the experiments! The first one I took, I was secretly worry though that I'll turn out to be some terrible psychopath

That sounds like a really hard course, I could hardly do Higher Maths. I have a friend going to do maths at Strathclyde though and she says that it's a very good department!

That's a shame, not the news you want to wake up to Then again, diving is today so that cheers me up significantly

No, I've not seen that one! I've mainly seen the Head advertisement ones with the banter between them both Will need to go see if I can find that one...

It really is lol wishful thinking! It may sound petty, but I'd love for anyone but a Chinese diver to take Gold in this 10m platform. It'd be nice to see others succeed for a change

P.s - loving some of the quotes from these commentators during this 10m diving

I know, it's like the finale to a film - especially with the flash twist at the start!

It really was I'm so thrilled for Tom securing his Bronze medal, but yay for David winning his Gold! David Boudia <3 Can't wait for this Medal Ceremony!!

Oh and yay for the Chinese being beaten in 2 diving events now Interesting to see what Qui Bo's reaction on the podium will be...

So am I, bronze is nothing to be sniffed that and he deserved something for what he did!

Does anyone know any good romantic comedies, I've seen quite a few but I'm in the mood for one and would be grateful for some help

It really isn't, plus his celebration at the end all jumping into the pool was fab

I watch way too many romcom's so could probably recommend some The Proposal is quite good if you've not seen it, though that may be because I just love Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in it Do you have any favourite actors/actresses? As there's probably a romcom with them in it somewhere

Indeed I have. I've not been in the other one though... The GU. QMU has Cheesy Pop on Fridays and a 'Pint of Fun' is nice. Can't really remember what's in it tbh...

That sounds like a really hard course, I could hardly do Higher Maths. I have a friend going to do maths at Strathclyde though and she says that it's a very good department.
Yeah it's not bad. Some classes are a bit meh. But I suppose all are at some stage... I hope she doesn't mind stats... There is a class which has weekly reports and presentations in the second semester... its not hard. But a lot of work!

Oh.. Canada!Riley McCormck.
Indeed. I'm also sure there was a bummy shot this morning at the semi's...
No, I've not seen that one! I've mainly seen the Head advertisement ones with the banter between them both Will need to go see if I can find that one...
Ill link you later if i can remember where it is.

I was glad as well. Not only to spite the sister in law as she's very pro China obvs. But loves the little strip Bo had at the silver...

I would say Ashton Kutcher but I've saw all his so that rules him out Ryan Reynolds is my favorite actor but I've never seen the Proposal so I'll give that a go, thanks !

lol well spiting your SIL never came into my reasoning but I suppose it's an added bonus for you I'd love him to strop on the podium like the Chinese guy who was beaten to Gold in the 3m diving and looked so disgusted at winning Silver

Yup, nomnom delivers as usual Bronze and Gold for him, yay How gutted must everyone else be knowing that 16th prelim qualifier took Bronze and 18th prelim qualifier took Gold Though they both delivered in the semi's!

lol well looks like I've suggested flukily there then Enjoy (and hopefully it won't be a hugely disappointing film now )!!

It really was a fantastic evening

I've always got a 'ping' with Boudia too, though that's most likely my wishful thinking

I've never seen that. Am I right in thinking it's horror/thriller themed May need to watch it at some point!

Haha, he does seem a bit camp... He ever so vaguely reminds me of David Burtka in How I Met Your Mother.

Here it is GG. Its not clear at all, but it happens.

Yeah, it is! More thriller than horror but it revolves around a man being buried underground...I don't think that's giving to much away

Talking about horrors, I watched 28 days later a few nights ago and could hardly get to sleep. One of the scariest films I've seen!

He's just brilliant

Ouchy I loved the 'new balls please' comment though from the Newsreader

lol I assumed something like that was involved from it's title

I've not seen that either I don't do very well with horror films

Finally round to the medal ceremony for diving that I missed last night. David Boudia actually reminds me of Paul Wesley from Vampire Diaries. I think its the defined chin...

Also lola that the IOC member was the China one for it... I think it was a rowing one where it happened to be the Aus IOC member giving it to a GB team for winning while Aus was 2nd/3rd. Both where the expected winner didn't win...

Also reminds me when Princess Anne gave Zara her medal in the team equestrian.

I think I'm going to miss the Olympics now after yesterday.
