I'm so tempted to as the UK pace left it at such a good point!!

lol just rub that salt in the wounds why don't you That's quite good then only one 9 start, though sucks about the back to back lectures The worst I ever had was 3.5hrs and that was a nightmare!!
Quote:
“Not really... Well I'll go out at some point but we shall see. Dd you get up touch for yours?”

I didn't really plan much for mine, too much stress and hassle doing it that way. Went out for a meal/drinks round Leeds with the Uni lot, then my Scotlandy peeps surprised me by rolling up for my 21st meal/drinks back in Cumbria which was great I don't think it could've been any better had I planned stuff for it tbh

“Haha, indeed it's my way! You have to go into Dumfries before heading towards Stranraer (A74) I think to get to Kircudbright. that's nice. You should stop at Cream O'Galloway and play in the 3D maze!!! When are you heading up?”

I knew it was up there somewhere Oooh now you see I'd likely stop off to try it and spend hours there like a big kid Heading up for the August bank holiday (think that's the w/c 27th but could be wrong).

I'm used to long days. With CompSci it was pretty bad. Fridays were 9-1pm then 2-4 for me. 2hour labs 3 times a week as well. Ohwell, its life. I know worse though. A 9-5 daily with an hour to two off, 5 days a week...

I vaguely remember you saying this now you mention it. Glad it all came together so nicely.

Indeed. South West Scotland, very SW... Haha, its just about 10/15minutes drive further down the A74 after the Kircudbright turn off. I was there the other week. Fun

Just seen a less than discrete tattoo on a cyclist. It was some sort of writing going vertically down from each nipple. Uggghh....

I'm so glad I didn't take anything maths related if that's what your timetables are like I thought it was bad for us when we got like 5 hours a day with only a 30min gap but yours is just harsh!! Who has the 9-5 timetable? That must be one intense course

I knew it wasn't far from us so SW will be about right! Haha I'm sure it's guaranteed fun Though I'd still be like a giant kid if I went

Just a friend at Glasgow doing Chemistry. Indeed intense.

Haha, it is good. xD Only £2 entry to roam all areas of the grounds! (£4 for kids )

Meh, I'd guesstimate around about an hour once you cross the border to get to Kircudbright. Maybe just longer...

PS did you catch any of Cincinnati? Li Na and Fed won both titles. The second set of the womans was pretty intense! I didn't catch the other 2 sets but by the looks of it each were one sided either way!

That sounds like one hellish course! Doing AS Chemistry was painful enough

lol if I have some extra time, I may just need to see about nipping to visit this, it sounds way too cool to miss

Yeah, I had a quick google map session and it doesn't look that far from us tbh! Shouldn't take too long I doubt, though we'll likely take the 'scenic route' and get there in double the time it should take

Unfortunately I didn't get chance to catch any live. Followed along with the catch-up news round things that summarise it all though! Did you catch the Fed/Nole match? I was shocked to read the first set scoreline to that one

Never took Chemistry minus 1st/2nd year. I kind of regret it now. I remember looking at courses and Forensic Chemistry seemed so cool!

Though hearing her go on about it it is pretty solid!

Haha, you should persuade your family to. Have to say depending on which way you head up to your relatives, its quite a drive to the motorway to head from Kircudbright to join the M77. Unless you drive up the smaller roads along the West Ayrshire coast.

Haha, I don't believe I've ever been down the scenic route. All I know is there is only near Gretna (just after the border) and theres another just before Dumfries on the way in from the south.

Can't say I like driving on small, back roads though. Scares me how tight some are with the speed allowed!

Nope. Sky don't seem to be showing the ATP on Sky Sports 2, which is all we bought! Which means no Sky Sports 3 or 4! Luckily it seems they are moving some Tour matches to 2 once they reach the closing stages of some tournaments.

Eurosport thankfully show the WTA matches. The quality from US broadcast makes be feel like I'm watching stuff from the 80's though.

But indeed I did see the first set score! Poor Nole. Also Nadal out of the US Open (I can't remind if we spoke about this...)

I'm probably the only one, but anyone watching Bake Off on BBC2? That James... rrrawr. He can bake me anything he likes. (sorry couldn't think of a decent cake based innuendo).

Oh and Manchester John ain't bad either.

lol if it's anything like the Chemistry courses we do down here, you should be thankful you didn't take it

Well I've never been on those roads intentionally I've only ever ended up on them all the fecking way to Glasgow airport when I took us on the wrong turning when leaving the service station (yes, I'll admit it wasn't one of my finer moments )!!

Unfortunately speaking from experience, I would say avoid those back roads and scenic route at all cost lol as you can see the motorway running along side you for most of the flaming way yet you're stuck at much lower speeds because of the narrowness of the back roads!!

lol poor Nole from your point of view maybe

I don't think we have, but I'm really disappointed he won't be at USO It's such a shame to see such a good player missing all these tournaments!! I hope he can manage to make a sufficient recovery so that he can come back in good form...

I don't watch it, but seen it advertised and the PE teacher didn't look too bad!! Is he one of those two you mentioned?

No, he's called Stuart. He's ok but he sort of reminds me of one of my old teachers.

Murray could potentially get to No.3 if he does well in his next few tournaments...

I think he's pretty much out until the start of the next tennis year tbh.

lol definitely not a good thing when a guy reminds you of a previous teacher

Having seen that, I'd still go with Stuart first! None of the others are as appealing

Took your advice and so pleased I did!! Can't believe they do 30 flavours of ice cream AND a taster session for them I've so already signed myself up for that Plus the whole 'adventure area' sounds amaze balls (and I don't even care how much of a big kid I'll look there )!!

Yeah, I just hope he doesn't let any pressure get to him over expectations for USO Would love him to play as good as he did at the Olympics

Unfortunately I'm thinking the same. Though I'd prefer him to take as much time as necessary, rather than rushing it and then doing more damage in the long run!

Haha, I know some events you are supposed to prebook. Haha, I don't think the flavours are that exciting tbh... Theres another ice cream farm on the way in to Dumfries where they do more varied ice cream and the chocolate factory which you pass on the way out which has a lot of different ones.

Haha, it really is fun.

Indeed, fingers crossed! I think he won't fare as well tbh. Maybe qf or sf...
Looking at the draws, Watson has it tough against Li Na R1...

Haha well I won't be informing the family of the less than exciting ice cream flavours That's my bargaining chip with them

Having saw the draw, I have to agree I'm hopeful though that he may pull off a shocker

Also, Serena Williams talk about lucky draw!! I hope there's a shock upset somewhere in there

Oooh and I couldn't help myself and I've now watched the whole s1 of Revenge
Spoiler
After the episode I mentioned, they just got even more addictive!! What an absolute scheiße way to end the finale though (well fantastic from the writers POV as it's got me wanting more, but still )!! I hate cliffhangers like that as I just wanna see more episodes now...

Actually can't wait for September for all the US shows coming back for their next seasons

Haha, I've been like that since May.
Though I'm kinda glad I've had a long break and really should cut down this year.

Thanks for confirming that both.
