I'm not a huge fan of him myself - he's a conniving git , but its nice to see that they're not ignoring the fact that he's gay.

Yup, he's been that way since ep.1. It was like 10 minutes into the show and he was having a snog with the Duke of Crowborough! Then he tried it on with the Turkish Ambassador Pamuk but he wasn't having any of it.

@Ludwig I am a massive Downton fan, I love everything about it, the way they speak, and the general fabness of it

I hate Thomas, his constant scheming with his fag hag O Brien against Bates made me mad

I like nearly all the characters in some way apart from Thomas. I don't like O Brien but Siobhon Finneran is fantastic

Horrid character but you've got to give the actress credit for portraying her so well. Same with Thomas really.

I'm just catching up on the radio 1 breakfast show and they just played a live song from One Direction...I didn't realise they sound so awful.

Usually I'm slightly distracted by the sight of them, but you know, on the radio, there's nothing to see..and it sounded awful.

On the subject of 1D, the only two remotely good looking are Zayn and on a lower scale Liam.

But Harry Styles, what is the appeal in that mop? if he wasn't famous then no way would anyone think he was anything, he's the most average looking "hunk" ever

Apparently, it's the fact that he looks average that is appealing..there's something about symmetry and attraction and so on.
