Yeah, my mum's 50th, they're there already, but I'm working this week.

I didn't pay.

Haha, free holiday - WIN.

My parents are away on Tuesday. I've not seen then in 3 weeks and won't for another 3/4. I'm so not close to them...

Lol, tbh, I'm not missing them much. The house is so quiet at the moment, it's bliss.

Well, it was quiet, I'm watching Dara O'Briain right now though, I'm pretty much laughing my head off.

Haha, I do like Dara OB. Such a geek I actually watched his School of Hard Sums

Bless ya.

I do like a geek. They're cute.

That's not patronising at all!

Pahahaha, suuuuuuure.

I'll put it down to academic interests... That kinda lessens the nature of geekiness...

How's life besides that Cakey?

Pretty good actually, but I really fancy a cup of tea now.

I dunno whether to use the pot, or a teabag.

Jasmine tea has such a unique taste, I had some at a British tea shop.

I dunno, I quite like the pot.

Hahaha, shocker!

It does indeed. I also like a good green tea and all these other weird Chinese teas.

I haven't actually moved, I'm still just lying here.

I'll try most teas, but personally, I like a good old fashioned builders tea..it's the working class in me.

Haha, I'm not too fussed over tea. Though recently I've been loving Chai Teas

Get that kettle on!

Hiya all! Pleased to hear you're all doing well and welcome Ollie (and any other newbies I've missed since last posting!)

I totally know what you mean Ollie too, I really want to make more gay friends in real life (and I'm making a real effort to do so) but because I don't actually know any to go out with, I'm in that awkward stage of not wanting to go out on my own and so in one of those crappy catch 22 situations

Haha sounds like there's plenty of fun being had in your flat this year Javvy!! After your postings, I'm wondering which Celeb Juice you watched?! The one with Katie Price's sex ed lesson of just spiting and slipping it in seems somewhat appropriate here

How's uni life treating you?

How's things with you Jase? Hope you enjoy your holibobs when you head out there

Nah I'm back in tomorrow.

I settled on a hazelnut latte, sort of home made lol.

Next time you're in Soho and I'm around, I'll come out with ya.

How are you? x

Ooh I really fancy a caramel macchiato now you've got me thinking about drinks!

Really?! I'm not necessarily 'around Soho' as I don't really go anywhere just on my own and don't actually have any gays to out Soho with atm, but whenever you're next heading out, lemme know and if I'm free I'll tag along if that's ok

Probably a stupid question and the answers probably yes, but I'll check anyway...do you have facebook? If so, I'll PM you my page and you can add me if you want to!

I'm quite good thanks Jase! Settling into my course now and signed up for the LGBT soc at my uni (just have to wait until Nov sometime for our first social!) so trying as best I can to broaden my gay social circle

Aside from that, I've decided that I'll be staying in Chelmsford the whole year as I've literally became like a part of the family here and settled in so well (to the point they're like my adoptive mum and dad and brothers ) and also I have it so cushty that on my budget, there is no where in London I could get even on the outer zones as good as this!! I mean, I have my meals cooked for me, my washing done, really great company with all the friends I've made here (although they're all straight unfortunately - one or two I suspect of being gay but they're firmly in the closet if they are so no opportunities to head into London with them!), invited along to all the activities they do/are going to do and best of all, have use of the hot tub and alcohol full time Plus, I can come and go as I please and been told that I can 'bring uni friends back if I wanted to' which I thought was a lovely gesture for them to say - even though I wouldn't take them up on that lol!

The only downside is the last train to Chelmsford leaves stratford at 20 past midnight which is crappy timing as it's so early, but thankfully so far, I've been quite lucky that I've either been out with friends/course mates who've let me crash at theirs just for the overnight so I don't need to leave early to catch the last train back to Chelmsford just after midnight. Plus I've been able to leave early the next morning so it's not like I was burdening them or anything for the whole day!

That's definitely fine. I haven't been in a fair while though, probably since pride!

That sounds pretty awesome.

I'm still trying to find somewhere myself, before I'm homeless.

Saying that, I could always follow the rents to London, but you know, that's totally awkward..

Ooops, just realised I edited and added loads of waffle whilst you were replying to my original message sorry!!

Oooh yay There's no rush or anything, just if you're ever heading out and I'm free to tag along I might just come out!

It really is a great set up, plus with this being such an intense year workload wise, I like the idea of having a 'home from home' around me to help if I get stressed with the work instead of being surrounded by a bunch of people I barely know and keeping it to myself!

Awwh how comes you're going to be homeless? What have I missed?

I drink archers and lemonade, I'm hardly a ringing endorsement for male masculinity.

You should, sometimes it gets a bad rep, but it's pretty fun you know? I just go out, drink a bit, and dance the night away, albeit out of time, and rhythm-less, but I'm too drunk to care.

Yeah that's always good, to like have somewhere to de-stress, especially if it's so intense.

Everyone likes to blow off some steam.

No euphemism intended there.

Oh my parents are moving to back to London, into my Grandad's old place.

They want to be nearer family, and it makes sense childcare-wise.

My work is here in Hertfordshire, and I was planning on going anyway, so they've planned for me not being there, only trouble is, I haven't found anywhere yet.

Private rent round here is ridiculous, unless I want to go and live in a student house.

I couldn't handle it when I was a student, I'm not sure I could handle it now.

I'd just spend all my time cleaning.

Haha, it is indeed. Shame it's not me! Though I much prefer this year in the flat than last. We had our flat warming last night. No complaints yet xD I just love how social our flat has become compared to last year as well.

And yup this weeks episode with Katie Price. They were watching it yesterday and got up to the green wall - fav game ever xD - and I'm soooo glad I left the flat after that as the next bit was the SexEd bit! That would've been awkward!
Uni is alright. Week 4 starts tomorrow so that's near enough a third way through this semester already! I feel so behind and not in the loop still. But hopefully that will change by the end of this week...

How is your course going? So you've decided to stick with your adoptives then xD Still jel of the hot tub.

Haha, I'm a caramel one as well! Or peppermint.

Sounds like a great night out! Fun nights out are always the best And who cares what you're like out dancing/partying away, it's not like you'll see any of them again (well, with the exception of the people you're out with, but hopefully they're equally as trollied and having a good time so they're just as good/bad as you!

Haha I'm quite shocked there's no euphemism intended there Jase but yeah, it's good to know I have that support around me if I did need it!

I really hope you're able to sort something out soon and for someplace you're happy to be
