Samsung tab 2

31-03-2012
Been thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and the best price I can find is aroung £399. However after reading about it I have found various references to the fact that Samsung are releasing a Galaxy Tab '2' in March 2012. However I can not find any information about these in the online shops and now news as to whether it was released in March. Does anyone have anymore information???
Thanks

Well, I can't find anywhere that sells a Galaxy tab '2' 10.1. The news articles say it has Android ICS but the ones for sale all run 3.1. Unless they are just saying it is currently 3.1 but going to be upgraded to 4.0
I'm really confused

The Transformer Prime looks a better option.

I'm disappointed in Samsung's effort. Its not much of a upgrade and its underpowered. The Transformer Prime and iPad(3) are higher spec.

certainlY I think the new Galaxy Tab is more a 1.5 than a 2.

Though there's also the Galaxy Note Tab now as well.

I agree Asus seem to have a better overall package, and have higher specs on the horizon -

If the 300 is a bit cheaper I think it will be my next purchase.

I would wait for some offical news about the samsung galaxy tab 11.6 tablet. If rumours are to be believed, then the screen resolution will be 2560×1600 (the highest of any tablet currently on the market) and a 2GHz dual core Exynos processor. This is going to be a very good tablet, but expect to pay top dollar.
