Wow - I had tears in my eyes watching his audition - such a beautiful song and voice and he was so heartfelt when he was singing it - I was really moved!!

I think he will go far.. He seems a lovely guy and that song was absolutely beautiful. I reckon simon already has the contract drawn up...

I remember him. I thought he was awful on The Voice of Ireland, wasn't at all surprised he was first out. I was shocked by how good he was on bgt.

I only hope he fights against being made to do covers, it would be criminal!
Ever get the feeling that only one of him or Sam Kelly is going through? Like they did with Razy and that French dancer last year?

I thought he was decent enough on that, but he's clearly at the teen pop end of the scale....like an acoustic version of Justin Bieber or One Direction so to speak
Bet he had the same story on The Voice..about his ex girlfriend or whatever. Just his story got him through i think. ordinary voice and song

No, in fact. He just came straight on there and performed and got through.
Well maybe they'd drugged the audience, because they certainly seemed mesmerised by him! He was very mellow - reminded me of Jack Johnson. My cup of tea. Absolutely loved it!

It was a stunningly beautiful , self written song, he sang it well and alone with out backing vocals and accompanied himself on guitar .... surely that's the opposite of being gimmicky ??
Oh please, probably the same people supporting him were supporting the 'Fast Car' guy from last year.
