Most of the fuss being made is over the whole "awww, he sung to a girl" stuff. That's being mentioned a LOT more than his actual singing.

As I said, in my opinion. I am entitled to not follow the crowd, aren't I?

Have you seen in The Sun today that says he may not be eligible to continue on BGT because he auditioned on The Voice Ireland?

Not only auditioned but made the live shows and got voted off week one. And if i'm honest this puts me off him slightly. I have no problem with people entering different shows but entering two within such a short time space of each other just seems a little bit desperate. Plus it makes me question whether he deliberately threw the voice to get out of it quickly to concerntrate on BGT which means that someone potentially misses out on having their chance while Ryan gets his time in the spotlight twice.

Edit - He does have a nice voice though.

He seems to have entered both shows virtually simultaneously. In his defence, he probably thought he would do well on only one of them and that therefore nobody would notice, but his plan went awry when he progressed on both shows (I'm not sure of the timescale, but perhaps he should have voluntarily withdrawn from the Irish show if he knew he was going to do well on BGT).

That's a fair point, and I get what you mean. I found it odd he could sing this song for a girl (?) and couldnt even say her name

I think ryan was on daybreak today. Unfortunately I missed it.

I don't think Ryan should be allowed to continue because he got to the final of Irelands The Voice, which gives him an unfair advantage over the other contestants.

Not really, other than he knows what to expect.

I think because of this, he's actually now at a DISadvantage.

I wonder if they've decided whether ryan's staying on in the competition or not.

Apparently he is out. See the realty tv page on here. Because of his contract with the Voice in Ireland.

Bump...

Seems he is in the semi-finals now.

Well, in that time since reaching the final, he's released an EP which got to #9 here and #1 in Ireland, and the 'No Name' single hit #31 here and #3 in Ireland.

Not too bad I suppose.
