I feel for you. There's nothing worse than seeing a pet suffer. We had to put one of our cats down about a year ago and it broke our hearts but deep down you know it's only for the best.

They'll be in a happy place
Oh Maddy, I do feel for you, but it would be the right thing to do if he is in pain

We're taking Murray the Wonder Dog on holibobs at the weekend, can't help thinking it might be his last one. Gone are the days when he'd leap into the car, we have to lift him in gently now
Thank you, my mams finished work early and took him to the vets now. I couldn't possibly go would find it too hard. Really upset to think I more then likely won't see him again . But deep down I know its for the best or maybe they will make him better but prepared for the worst.

i don't have a pet, but a work colleague does and i can understand the strong bond humans have with their pets from seeing how upset she got when telling people how sick her pet was recently.. sorry that your dog has been so unwell but you did the right thing.. all the best

Congrats to matt and ben for your results!..
Congratulations to all on your results, tho being Scottish I have no idea what they mean
Well done everyone on results. This time last year, yesterday i got my Leaving Cert results!!! So tis a relief once you get the result...
Thanks everyone.

Congratulations on your results everyone.. What course are you going to do, Ben?
I'm going to be studying International Development with Overseas Experience at the UEA - so glad that I can finally say that as a definite!

Did you collect any results today?

Extended Project Qualification. You basically choose a topic (rather like a dissertation topic) on which to base a project. I haven't done it myself yet, so I'm sure Ben will be able to explain better...

http://www.aqa.org.uk/qualifications...roject-epq.php
Yeah that's pretty much it. It's kinda like a mini-dissertation - either a 5,000 word essay or an artifact (such as a hand-made dress, a scrapbook etc.) on whatever topic you wish, though you have to be able to draw your investigation to a close at some point and be able to evaluate what you've done, such as answering the title of the investigation. You have to be able to show that you can manage doing this and doing A levels at the same time, that you can do the research and find the correct information and all that stuff, and then you have to do a presentation on it towards the end of the project.

The title for my investigation was "To what extent did Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda deal effectively with independence?" A very light-hearted topic I'm sure you'd all agree.

Just listening to benana's starring role on local radio this morning

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radionorfolk/latest-programmes

Click on Chris Goreham at Breakfast, and fast forward it to 1:37:00

No Eurovision mentions, no reading of the results and saying "That Sounds Good To Me"
Sorry! I completely forgot.

I really dislike hearing my own voice recorded - but there's an interview with me on there earlier on in the show, either 15 or 45 minutes in, where I say that I'm going to open my results on my own, and then an hour later there I am opening them up on live on the radio.

Congratulations! You must be chuffed.

(Most sincere apologies about the source.)

Got into Sheffield. Phew - that's a bloody relief!
I got the alphabet! (At AS, this is.)
Thanks guys.

I got an A* in Geography, A's in History & Media Studies and a B in my EPQ.

Well done guys - massive congratulations all around.

Very cool on the radio too, Ben. Despite having a face for radio, I couldn't have done that!

Happy bday Brummyyummy
Belated Happy Birthday to Brummy too
Thank you both

BigB, so sorry to hear about your dog. Thinking of you. (And when you're feeling down, just think of the title of a 1989 animated canine film.)

I used to really hate hearing my voice on record, I've since grown used to it a bit but it's just.. argh.

Turns out my job isn't at terrible as I thought. Mainly because I just bought a massive bag full of food that's still in date (past display, but in use by) for £2.

Ooh, nice! A bit premature, but any ideas where you'll want to go abroad?

No, not today. I'm getting the last of my GCSEs next Thursday

I'm quite liking Jasmine in CBB.

Ugh @ The Situation's reaction to what Danica does. As if it's any less moral than Jersey Shore!

Huge spider in my bathroom, I didn't want to touch it so instead I tried to kill it using a bottle of Flash, surprisingly it worked although it took about 10 squirts. I feel bad having to kill it although I am beyond terrified of spiders and don't like finding them in my house. Still, atleast he was nice and clean when I sucked him up the hoover.

I can't touch them if they're too big. I have to wallop them with whatever is close to hand.

Was having a discussion about Tom Daley with my friend. She seems convinced he is straight, whereas my gaydar pings positively he isn't

Ofc it don't matter what sexuality he is but I find it amazing how few athletes are out as gay. I guessed they are advised not come out due to sponsorship. A lot easier for the powers that be to sell merchandise ect that way. Money makes the world go round. I have become obsessed with some of teamgb, Louis Smith and the rest of the gymnastic team keep popping up on my twitter and in Jacco's words they are yummy

The way he walked from the pool after his dives tells me he is...is my based on stereotypes answer, to which I'll tell myself off as I should know better.

I'd be more surprised if he was straight than gay.

2012 out gay Olympians:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/jpmoore/the-...-2012-olympics

Yeah, money makes the world go round (sod science!) and most of the world still hates the homos.

I hope Julian wins CBB - his reason for nominating Jersey Bore was perfect - along the lines of "you claim to love women but you speak about them disrespectfully."

Yep I am going on stereotypes too, guess people stereotype that people are straight in the same sort of way though.

Thats not many when you consider how many athletes there is. Loved Matthew Mitcham though, whilst all other divers kept their emotions in he was celebrating his scores before they had been announced

I ain't watch Big Brother in years but watched the opening and love the fake arguement between Heather and Bet . I really liked Julian too, esp wen he went to Jersey boy 'so what is your purpose' .

Wasn't sure whether to watch the rest but just seen the two nobody high class prostitutes have been nominated so might tune in now
