Colon really showed herself to be quite spiteful during that
What did she do? I was too busy being annoyed at the mass hypocrisy to notice individuals.

Sad news about Neil Armstrong.

God Danica, you are vile!

I understand Coleen, but Harvey is definitely nothing but a love rat

If Neil Armstrong's ashes aren't sent into space, it will be a travesty

If Neil Armstrong's ashes aren't sent into space, it will be a travesty
It'll be more a travesty if they cremate him and he wanted a burial!

This is a statement from his family:

“We are heartbroken to share the news that Neil Armstrong has passed away following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures.

Neil was our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Neil Armstrong was also a reluctant American hero who always believed he was just doing his job. He served his Nation proudly, as a navy fighter pilot, test pilot, and astronaut. He also found success back home in his native Ohio in business and academia, and became a community leader in Cincinnati.

He remained an advocate of aviation and exploration throughout his life and never lost his boyhood wonder of these pursuits.

As much as Neil cherished his privacy, he always appreciated the expressions of good will from people around the world and from all walks of life.

While we mourn the loss of a very good man, we also celebrate his remarkable life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true, to be willing to explore and push the limits, and to selflessly serve a cause greater than themselves.

For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.”

Aah, I like that thought from his family, I'll pop outside for a smoke later and see if the night sky is clear

My dad made a big thing about getting a new telly for the moon landings, I remember it so vividly, it was a COLOUR telly and we were the first in our close and extended family to get one

It was all broadcast in black and white and he was mad as hell!

I'm having fun talking with Cleverbot tonight about Eurovision

I honestly will give the moon a little wink when I next see it in full. That's really sweet.

It's ages since we've had an Anke link, it's long overdue, so here's my favourite:

Her face when Belarus comes out, and the backstage guy being Dana Int'l are my favourite bits!

The guy doing the Jedward jump is pretty spot on. Anke's reaction to Macedonia qualifying is funny too.

I want to live in the reality where Na inat qualified.

Randomly, I had one of those dreams that makes you question reality when you wake up the other night. I had a child. Don't ask me how it happened! It was a son who I called Cassidy. Felt weird the whole day after the dream.

Either I have not seen that before or more then likely I have just totally forgot it.

Love her Macedonian reaction, she was really hoping it wasn't 'Fin dim dim Macedonia!'

Can't sleep tonight quite frustrating.

Just watched a documentary about the moor murderers and they moved on too poor Keith Bennett. Along with all the shocking details, I found out he and his family lived like 50 metres away around the corner from the house I have just moved out of.

Just find this totally chilling as I never realised before watching this that it all occurred so close to where I live. Pure evil those two.

I think The Occasional Table needs to grow up to be honest, he's really coming across as a bit pathetic now. Also Harvey is such a hypocrite, he likes to pretend he's such a nice guy but all he's doing is stirring things up.

And I'm getting way too involved

Agree with that, what he said to Lorenzo is reprehensible! I hope when Lorenzo has a word, it's some proper choice ones He needs to man up a bit to get the audience on side

Involved? Moi?

"Additional short term side effects can include ..... Euphoria"

Fine by me!

Grabbed some Paralympics Opening Ceremony tickets this afternoon (very happy but not sure what's going to be in it) and have some ExCel day passes for the first Thursday and Friday. Then I'm off to Washington and New York for a week before I go to Sheffield to start uni (scary), so that might explain a possible absence

Stuff the opening ceremony, I got me some Goalball tickets! God knows what it is but it's in the Olympic Park, that's the main thing!
