Can't sleep tonight quite frustrating.

Just watched a documentary about the moor murderers and they moved on too poor Keith Bennett. Along with all the shocking details, I found out he and his family lived like 50 metres away around the corner from the house I have just moved out of.

Just find this totally chilling as I never realised before watching this that it all occurred so close to where I live. Pure evil those two.
A friend's mother used to live opposite Fred and Rose West.

Apparently they were very friendly with their neighbours.

Stuff the opening ceremony, I got me some Goalball tickets! God knows what it is but it's in the Olympic Park, that's the main thing!
I went to some olympic hockey, mainly to see the park which is utterly mahousive.

Jasmine made me LOL when she was directing her Mom talking to Sam about her dog. "I didn't know the dog was dead, It's like Danica again"...or words to that effect!

Danica's alright by me. If "The Situation" wasn't such a misogynistic ****, I might feel sorry for him.

I didn't much like Julie before, but she's officially my favourite housemate now. The Julian in drag comment almost made me choke on my cake

Touch of Cloth was hilarious, first time I've genuinely laughed out loud at a TV show in ages.
Very silly in places and so many great little touches hidden in there, but it never felt too OTT. Can't wait till tomorrow now.

It was properly epic! I can't wait to get back to work to use some of the lines "He's never been found dead before, so this is out of character" was probably my favourite (After Rundowne Estate and Peter Andre House!)

How long before someone puts up an Arse + Elbow poster in your office?

I can imagine the acronyms bit might get quoted heavily as well?

I want that poster so bad .... and the acronyms conversation sounded spookily true to life

First time I've posted on this thread, but I LOVE JULIA DAVIS.

Shall have to watch on 4 On Demand.

Anyway, she also has a new series on Sky Atlantic (written and directed by St Julia) called Hunderby; looks a right blast, though I don't have Sky so it'll have to be streaming for me.

How many of those have you had Sue?

It'll probably be on one of those wonky websites where I watched The Walking Dead.

This is a proper two fingers to BBC who single-handedly ruined Lizzie & Sarah! Good!

We'll settle up later. Otherwise it just gets nasty.

I'm all ready and far too excited for the True Blood season 5 finale...I'm sure I'll find it!

We're very naughty not to " " our quotings!

Samantha is much nicer than her Daily Fail persona makes her out to be.

Rhian is alright and has great boobs.

Danica - I hate the double standards involved in judging her. I find Harvey much more repugnant. She's not a whore...even if she was, I wouldn't hold it against her.

The Occasional Table - Douche Bag, get him out.

Julian Clary is just my hero in so many ways after that Boxcercise class.

Also, heard Euphoria TWICE at work today. If it's on the Topman playlist three months after the contest it must either be doing something very right or very wrong. Still having to resist the urge to crabdance across the shopfloor when I hear the opening bars.

I am still in Copenhagen but I'm off to Malmo tomorrow! I thought it was last week that you were here?!

I had another disaster today. I wanted to go to the Little mermaid thing and somehow managed to get the wrong train. I can only imagine what my face looked like when he announced Hamburg as the final destination. I got off at the next stop, had a look round but it was just residential. Tried to figure out if I was still in zones 1-3 but sadly I was in zone 66 so naturally my ticket was invalid. I then had to pay approx £5 for a ticket back! The stupid awful ticket machines don't accept notes so I had to buy a load of overpriced snacks from a shop to get the change.

Thankfully I had an amazing Danish lunch so the day hasn't been all bad. Just trying to guess what awful thing will happen tomorrow. Probably the train flying off the bridge.
Ah

No slightly misunderstanding...
I came SAT morning, then one night, then back to Oslo yesterday afternoon. Just arrived at work. Slightly tired...

Hope things went better after this

Well today has been much more successful. I went over the bridge, as featured in the popular TV programme 'The Bridge'. Malmo is pretty but quite dull. In fact I'd go as far as to say that it's pretty dull. The place was so empty for a Saturday afternoon and I couldn't really find anything that I wanted to do on the tourist map. I ended up having a very nice walk along the coast which thankfully made the day. Eurovision's certainly going to inject a bit of life into the place! Speaking of, I saw the arena from the train and t looks very nice indeed though it's not exactly central. Definitely advise anyone going there next year to stay in Copenhagen and commute, it's ony about 20 mins or so.

Oh and I went into a music shop specifically to laugh at the cut price Carola, Catwoman and Top Cats albums!
Yes, I also have a feeling Malmų is pretty dull...

This is the bit I don't understand about them hosting it in Malmo, they must realise a lot of people are going to do this. I would have thought the tourist income it generates is one of the main benefits of hosting.
Exactly. CPH will make so much money without actually doing anything. Its really strange.

I thought it would be nice to have a few weeks off before I go back to uni, as its been a good few years where I have not had to worry about uni or work. Day 1 and i'm bored already, most of my friends are on holiday or have been out at the weekend so don't wanna do anything.

These weeks off could end up being more boring then I anticipated haha

I'm guessing he is just presuming because i'm a student I am messy My rooms quite clean though at home, if I was back in Manchester it would be a different story haha.

Theres football and tennis on for the rest of the week to entertain me, friends bday on Saturday and think another group of friends want to go out the following Saturday. I need to plan things, endless days of having nothing planned make me go crazy.

Any good TV shows to recommend? Just worked my way through Early Doors and Fresh Meat, enjoyed the Fresh Meat a lot more then I expected

If you have Sky - would recommend a Touch Of Cloth (2 episodes, 1st one on Sky Go, second one on Sky1 at 9) or Sky Atlantic's The Newsroom.....
