I think the ice needs to be broken soon otherwise it's going to just turn into Big Brother (only without watching people sleep... although I've taken to locking my window in case they try and get the upper hand)

I was tempted to end it with a Poison Pen letter alluding to allegations of dogging, but I've decided I don't fancy being arrested so I'm back to the drawing board.

Came in drunk as a skunk, Never drink milk but decide I will have a drink of it and it is off. Don't know at what point I realised it was off but feel sick now. Look at the date and it doesn't go out of date till tomorrow, if I am ill tomorrow I am blaming it on the milk

Yeah if I'm ill tomorrow I'm blaming the milk too not the copious amounts of alcohol I drank

9:40 on Sunday morning and I've already been to church, sorted the washing and ironing out, emptied the bins, put the washing up away, cleaned the sink and the hob*...is this what an early night does? It must never happen again.

*one of these things may not have happened.

Also, Jenna-Louise Coleman - cutest girl in the UK? Oh, yes.

Jenna-Louise is definitely cute, but boy is that programme getting to be insufferably smug. (I'd post this in the DW sub-forum only I'd like my limbs to remain intact.)

Since you were on your knees so early in the day brummy, here's a treat for you.........

I love those things! I feel sorry for the people who are actually dumb enough to fall for these ludicrous scams.

Reminds me of this story involving a particularly gullible woman, cracks me up everytime.

I don't feel sorry for them at all. If you're stupid enough to fall for something like that, you don't deserve the money.

Ha, Hyuna was my favourite thing about the other video because she wasn't singing. (I much prefer her less babyish singing voice!) Epic song is still epic. (Must resist the urge to do the dance when I'm next out!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTq9K...ture=endscreen

Random youtube morning. Kpop, the Belarusian song from the main thread and the Anna Karenina trailer (which I didn't plan to see or read but now feel I must because although Aaron Johnson went weird after Kick Ass, Emily Watson - my favourite actress ever and Olivia Williams are in it).

With DW, I'm not a fan of Matt Smith at all really. Haven't watched much of his run so far as I'm not an Amy and Rory fan either. I did watch the last Christmas episode because Claire Skinner is lovely and I tried to pay attention to the River Song stuff because Alex Kingston is great. My favourite modern Who stuff is when Freema Agyeman, Billie Piper, Catherine Tate, Penelope Wilton, Eve Myles (I have so much love for Gwen!) and especially Elisabeth Sladen all appeared in the same episodes. I'm on board for this series though - high hopes for Jenna-Louise.

Hate to admit it but I've kinda gone of Doctor Who, I used to be obsessed with it in my early teens (still have the Dalek poster on my wall which I got when I was 14 ) but I'm not really a fan of Matt Smith's Doctor, there is something really annoying about the way he talks and I've tried to like it but I just can't warm to him even though he's been in the role for some time now. :/

Still can't get over the fact that Lis Sladen is no longer with us, gone way before her time.

Ooh DW talk, very topical for me as I've just got home after spending the day at the Norwich Sci Fi Convention (been there since 9am, but back in time for Belgian GP - yay!)

http://www.nor-con.co.uk/

Got there very early, and had long chat with K-9 dude, Robert Llewelyn and various Daleks etc

LA got interviewed in his Cyberman outfit for the DVD of the day that they are producing, his interviewer was a Matt Smith-a-like

Never seen so many geeks in one place though, made us lot look incredibly normal

I just looked at those pictures Anne, LA looks adorable in the cyberman outfit.

Did you actually talk to K-9?

Such a beautiful woman. As stunning when she returned as she was in the 70s.

I read her autobiography early this year and afterwards watched this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX5P8UyxA-I and bawled my eyes out.

LA had a face off with a Dalek, it was all extermination and deletion, I didn't really understand it ...

This was the bloke we had a long chat with, very interesting guy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mat_Irvine

There wasn't much of a queue to meet the celebs, not surprising really as each autograph was at least a tenner, Colin Baker was £25!

I got too stage struck to take any photo's of them though

Oh my, that was a race and a half!

I like to blame Hamilton everytime something goes wrong in a race, and whilst the replay might have looked like he wasn't at fault, you could hear that he didn't lift or brake after Grosjean hit him, thus ploughing into the back of him and launching them both over the hapless Alonso....

Hamilton, you're an idiot

Does anyone else find all the female characters in Doctor Who nowadays to have the same personality?

Spa was a good race.

Lol, somehow I think Hamilton losing the front left wheel might have had a small effect on his ability to slow the car down.

Between Button winning by a clear mile, Kimi on the podium, Moronado getting even more grid penalties, and Romain "7 first lap crashes in 12 races" Grosjean getting a race ban, it was a great race. Just a shame Sauber couldn't have got some points after their good qualifying

I still maintain that the in the on car footage, you can hear the revs revving even after contact ... but it's a moot point - Grosjean was to blame for the initial incident, but the severity of it was down to "poor Hamilton" (don't get me started on his tweeting...)

I feel for Sauber, they deserved a good race after their awesome qualifying

I haven't watched enough really but the ones I like are all sufficiently different for me. I guess the characteristic they most share is pluckiness but I'm all for gutsy heroines! Lis Sladen praised the modern characterisation compared to her earlier stint where she found she was more "yes Doctor, no Doctor" and had to do a lot of fleshing out herself.

"This is going to kill me, this show."

Phillip Schofield. The Cube.

With any luck.

Change of subject again...I bought my usual Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme (because years back, I wanted to smell how this advert made me feel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKKVq1WtaTs ) and noticed that there's a new one out called Libre. Asked for a tester but they didn't have it but gave me one of Calvin Klein Encounter instead. Now I'm in love with it. Can't stop smelling my wrist. (When it comes to fragrance, my motto is: you should smell like you'd want to **** yourself.) Even better, it's advertised by Alexander Skarsgård. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swh3N1LTXZA

Leading on from that...has anyone seen True Blood season 5 and is now absolutely gagging for six?

I'm not the biggest Hamilton fan either, but he lost his front wheel and got pushed onto the grass, so doing anything (braking or accelerating) was always going to be a problem as he would have had no grip. Don't forget that the engine will overrev slightly when he went off the track even with less throttle because the rear right is on the slippy grass and the rear left will lift into the air (because the grass is lower than the track), so there's no longer the same amount of resistance to the engine. Looking at the overhead shot, you can even see how hard he tried to slow the car down because it left large skid marks when he rejoined the track.

Unfortunately this time, I think that the only thing we can blame Hamilton for is ending up next to the young thugs after qualifying.

Meh, it's all opinion at the end of the day - he's never going to hold his hand up to his wrong doings .. the twitter thing was funny though!

yes please! A world without Schofield is a world I want to live in. I bet the inhabitants of Azerbekazhakstani agree with me

I like a nice smelling bloke - unfortunately hubster will only agree to a nightly shower with coal tar soap and a spritz of Morrison's best deo

He's so often behaved like a petulant child, whilst I appreciate the physics of the accident, I still will always have a huge question mark! (or should that be ?)
