I think the ice needs to be broken soon otherwise it's going to just turn into Big Brother (only without watching people sleep... although I've taken to locking my window in case they try and get the upper hand)
I was tempted to end it with a Poison Pen letter alluding to allegations of dogging, but I've decided I don't fancy being arrested so I'm back to the drawing board.
Came in drunk as a skunk, Never drink milk but decide I will have a drink of it and it is off. Don't know at what point I realised it was off but feel sick now. Look at the date and it doesn't go out of date till tomorrow, if I am ill tomorrow I am blaming it on the milk

Random youtube morning. Kpop, the Belarusian song from the main thread and the Anna Karenina trailer (which I didn't plan to see or read but now feel I must because although Aaron Johnson went weird after Kick Ass, Emily Watson - my favourite actress ever and Olivia Williams are in it).
With DW, I'm not a fan of Matt Smith at all really. Haven't watched much of his run so far as I'm not an Amy and Rory fan either. I did watch the last Christmas episode because Claire Skinner is lovely and I tried to pay attention to the River Song stuff because Alex Kingston is great. My favourite modern Who stuff is when Freema Agyeman, Billie Piper, Catherine Tate, Penelope Wilton, Eve Myles (I have so much love for Gwen!) and especially Elisabeth Sladen all appeared in the same episodes. I'm on board for this series though - high hopes for Jenna-Louise.
Hate to admit it but I've kinda gone of Doctor Who, I used to be obsessed with it in my early teens (still have the Dalek poster on my wall which I got when I was 14 
) but I'm not really a fan of Matt Smith's Doctor, there is something really annoying about the way he talks and I've tried to like it but I just can't warm to him even though he's been in the role for some time now. :/

Lol, somehow I think Hamilton losing the front left wheel might have had a small effect on his ability to slow the car down.
Between Button winning by a clear mile, Kimi on the podium, Moronado getting even more grid penalties, and Romain "7 first lap crashes in 12 races" Grosjean getting a race ban, it was a great race. Just a shame Sauber couldn't have got some points after their good qualifying

I still maintain that the in the on car footage, you can hear the revs revving even after contact ... but it's a moot point - Grosjean was to blame for the initial incident, but the severity of it was down to "poor Hamilton" (don't get me started on his tweeting...

I couldn't disagree more with you Anne! Hamilton can be a bit of an idiot on the track but this wasn't one of those times...

I haven't watched enough really but the ones I like are all sufficiently different for me. I guess the characteristic they most share is pluckiness but I'm all for gutsy heroines! Lis Sladen praised the modern characterisation compared to her earlier stint where she found she was more "yes Doctor, no Doctor" and had to do a lot of fleshing out herself.

Change of subject again...I bought my usual Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme (because years back, I wanted to smell how this advert made me feel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKKVq1WtaTs ) and noticed that there's a new one out called Libre. Asked for a tester but they didn't have it but gave me one of Calvin Klein Encounter instead. Now I'm in love with it. Can't stop smelling my wrist. (When it comes to fragrance, my motto is: you should smell like you'd want to **** yourself.) Even better, it's advertised by Alexander Skarsgård. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swh3N1LTXZA

I'm not the biggest Hamilton fan either, but he lost his front wheel and got pushed onto the grass, so doing anything (braking or accelerating) was always going to be a problem as he would have had no grip. Don't forget that the engine will overrev slightly when he went off the track even with less throttle because the rear right is on the slippy grass and the rear left will lift into the air (because the grass is lower than the track), so there's no longer the same amount of resistance to the engine. Looking at the overhead shot, you can even see how hard he tried to slow the car down because it left large skid marks when he rejoined the track.
Unfortunately this time, I think that the only thing we can blame Hamilton for is ending up next to the young thugs after qualifying.

He's so often behaved like a petulant child, whilst I appreciate the physics of the accident, I still will always have a huge question mark! (or should that be ?)
