Unfortunately this time, I think that the only thing we can blame Hamilton for is ending up next to the young thugs after qualifying.
Although even with that, unless he'd been on pole he wouldn't have avoided them. Kobayashi, Maldonado and Grosjean all in some way triggered that crash, even if unintentionally. Very scary how close we came to losing another F1 great today.

That was the worst bit, Alonso was what, 2 feet away from having his head taken off? Cos I'm so old, I vividly remember Imola 1994 weekend....

Not at all awkward when Big Brother was reading out the transgression of the rules! Julie knows she's up for eviction on Wednesday, am surprised that Martin and Prince are also up though

I haven't watched enough really but the ones I like are all sufficiently different for me. I guess the characteristic they most share is pluckiness but I'm all for gutsy heroines! Lis Sladen praised the modern characterisation compared to her earlier stint where she found she was more "yes Doctor, no Doctor" and had to do a lot of fleshing out herself.
I do like a gusty heroine, but they all seem to be in the same mould, and with too much forced sexual tension. There are plenty of other ways to write strong female characters.

Leading on from that...has anyone seen True Blood season 5 and is now absolutely gagging for six?
I got banned from watching it during series 1, but I've restarted recently. I got up to series 3 episode 4 the other day, but I've moved onto rewatching Merlin before the new series. I've only watched most of the episodes once and I need a refresher on the backstories of each character.

I thought season 4 was pretty terrible and haven't bothered downloading 5 but now it has finished i'll download the lot and watch it back to back.

It just seemed like they were throwing too much at it....werewolves, werepanthers, shapeshifters, witches, fairies, Lafayette's dude. I preferred it when more of the cast were just normal.

I never like when programmes have a jump in time either (when Sookie lost 2 years of whatever it was). When Desperate Housewives moved forward 4 years was precisely when I gave up on it.

I also hated what they did to my Eric

Oh, goody, no-one has revealed any spoilers about the new episode of Doctor Who, as I haven’t seen it yet. And I’ve seen every episode since the first one, way back in 1963 (and that meant staying in on Saturdays, before we had our first video recorder in 1980. )

Sexual Tension? Really? Generally the Doctors Companion is usually a cute and or feisty youngster, and usually female, whose job is to ask the Doctor the questions that the audience would ask.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Companion_(Doctor_Who)

As examples I give you the original grand-daughter Susan, Polly, Victoria, Zoe, Jo and Nyssa. (Please don’t mention the irritating Tegan, Peri, Melanie and Ace!)

As the Doctors have got younger, there has always been some possibility of sexual interest, but the writers have always steered away from it, making the Doctor particularly naïve about this human trait, and as such, a rich source of humour. I expect the dark-haired cutie from Emmerdale to be no different.

Merlin - Bumped into Arthur Pendragon (and the knight Adetomiwa Edun) in the bar of a Cardiff hotel earlier this year – they tend to use locations around Cardiff for some of the filming (I am always spotting bits of Caerphilly Castle in the show) and the medieval village you’ve seen is at Cosmeston Lakes near Penarth.

I also walked through the Being Human outside location set last week. What with Doctor Who, Torchwood, Merlin, Gavin and Stacey, Being Human, Cardiff and its environs is fast becoming the UK’s Hollywood!

I do! It's not big, nor clever - but as I said, he sometimes has some interesting things to say from on the ground at Eurovision

I also have Luke Fisher ..... that's another story
Who's Luke Fisher?
How weird. I first met Luke in Oslo and we met Quite a few times since but never really talked. Now we at least started greeting each other and today he added me. Ha.

what's she like, they voted for her because she's vile and not because she's old or colleen wants to be the last female standing

How funny was 80,000 people booing George Osbourne at the medal ceremony at the Paralympics?

Then Gordon Brown gets a huge cheer

Who the hell does she think she is?

"I want to give ..... hope.....to pensioners.."

Seriously?!?! Pensioners don't need to know that Bet Lynch got through to the final to help them live a bit longer - they need heating, lighting and food!

That fake throwing up was gross, purely done to put the others off their food

And gang mentality? What about the fact that you are an EVIL OLD WITCH!

It was my TV highlight of the year. It was more than they deserved- someone should have done a Cher Lloyd and chucked a bottle of piss at them.

Something I've always wondered. Why do women cover themselves up in the changing rooms yet men are happy to walk about, willies waving about freely?

She is wonderful car crash reality TV at its best. She really has no idea what she's done wrong does she? And the tears for the pensioners? Purlease.

But she may survive on Wednesday. Loz is a goner firstly then with the votes frozen I think it'll be tight between Julie and Martin. She's been awful and very difficult to watch but on the other hand she's been the perfect BB contestant as well and folk may vote to save her on that basis.

Said it from day one though - Julian to win!

I said Coleen and either her or Julian would be a worthy winner - Channel 5 not showing as many of his one-liners as they did at the start, I can't believe that it's because he's not producing them!

Julie was happy enough when she was top dog pretty much and manipulating the vote but now she's not happy she thinks others are doing it, the woman is mental.
