They didn't say. Somebody sent in a picture which was shown during the weather forecast. There were some rooftops in the picture so I was trying to see if I could have some idea of whereabouts it was.

Darlo is a place? Nice of them to name it after one of our very own FMs.

It's short for Darlington. Or as I like to call it, Hell-On-Earth.

When I was heading back to Manchester from Newcastle once I had to change trains at Darlington. Was a cold dark winter night and I was the only one on the platform, seriously felt like something out of a horror movie

Spent way too much time waiting there! It's always freezing too

Darlo's alright really (although I live 100 miles away now so maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder)...! Not so much fun if you support the football team, though

Yeah I swear I was there in the summer once and was shivering haha.

What I always love about Darlington is when i'm coming back from Manchester and I reach Darlington station I know i'm back in the North East, always seems to be a different feel in the air

Yeah unlucky for them, actually will be lucky if they survive till the end of the year. Guess thats what happens when you invest in a 25,000 seated stadium whilst languishing in division 3 lol

Same - it's much fresher (well, colder!) than the humid/rainy north west

And pretty much, the stadium drained all the cash away! It's going to stand empty on the edge of town soon - what a waste

Oh the future still ain't looking too bright for yous is it. I have been saying for the past few years that a big club will end up being in financial meltdown.

It will happen in England sooner or later. Luckly for once my team is actually being run well financially and playing well on the pitch

I'm sick of rain down here. Swear its rained every day in April, depressing.

Guess they will probably end up knocking it down to build houses or shops.

It is hard to believe that one of the biggest clubs in the world, which they are, will be gone in next few days which is inevitable.

I do think this is the start of many clubs demise

A couple of years ago, Scott Mills was on a train which got terminated at Darlington and some bright spark told him to go to a pub called Hogans, which is one of the scariest pubs in the whole world. Regular fights, football firms, holliganism, hells angels etc. How he managed to get out alive is beyond me.

I always thought it was a stupid idea to build a premiership size stadium for such a small club. Saying that, one of the best things about that big stadium is that it hides a gypsy camp that is behind it.

Hahaha, Scott Mills went there?! I've never been in but I never got a particularly welcome vibe from the outside He's a braver person than I!

Still, can't be any worse than what used to be Escapade

Eek! I'm sure I'd settle in nicely.

Here is the story RE: Scott Mills

He was saved by a winning song from last year's Fantasy Contest.

Has anyone got any exams coming up?

I have my first one next Thursday and then my last on the following Wednesday on the 9th. The football season finishes that Sunday just as Eurovision rehearsals start. Perfect timing

My first is on 14 May and my last is on 22 May. I have eight proper exams, plus two for General Studies.

I'm seriously p*ssed off and I'm coming here to vent

Word of advice to anyone going to Uni. Don't bother. No-one told me a student loan repayment was going to reduce my potential mortgage borrowings by £17,000!!!!! All for a £33 a month repayment taken direct from my wages. No-one at the building society told me either until I received a letter saying actually we can't lend you what we originally said because of your piddly student loan amount each month.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think I can manage not to do that but it might turn me prematurely grey and drive me to drink!

Can you try a different lender and not disclose your student loan?
