I just came in from student night out a wee bit tootie and put on the 2011 Final... ended up having a proper rave-y dance about to the rockabilly Satellite, joined in with eccentric dance moves to Love In Rewind and my brain is currently being dirty during the lines "Come on boys, Come on girls"

Having been caught up in the rain there is nothing better than just changing into my hoodie, tracksuits and cosy socks. Blissful!

The rain hasn't reached here yet, although the skies have gone increasingly dark.

Ours are grey and cloudy down here on the East Coast, it's actually the kind of weather I want when I'm having a cozy day.

Loved that the first question out was ESC related

Yup, I knew it was maggots before the answers even came up. Funnily enough the cheese is illegal in some places.

Admitting you love Eurovision on national TV is one thing but this girl has just admitted she collects globes!

The shame

Someone mentioned it in GCSE Biology, so I also knew the answer before we saw the options.

Where's it banned?

EDIT: Just checked, and it's even banned in Sicily.

made it back from Manchester no thanks to road works and a new coach route. I have to say the HMV Ritz is a real rip off merchant at £4.35 a pint even though it is a good venue so i will think twice in future about going to gigs there.

Owch they must put the prices up when there are gigs on as its normally really cheap for normal nights. The past two times I have been there I have ended up getting embarrassingly drunk

I know I've shared this with fellow DSers countless times, but I'll never tire of it! Combines two of the best things ever, Eurovision and the comic stylings of one Adam Buxton

The pubs empty! Is it cos you all have lives?!

It's bedlam here - LA's birthday tomorrow, and so he's got 3 of his very best friends over for a sleepover. They all went to the pictures this afternoon with hubster whilst I indulged in a spot of window shopping

How come in Norwich today I saw approx 1,000 members of the band "One Direction"? There were countless groups of lads all wearing coloured skinny jeans, buttoned up shirts and cardigans - all with hair that looked as though they'd turned sideways against Carola's most fearsome wind machine

Strange

You'd have stood out like a sore thumb in Norwich today Ulfie! To blend in a little without that gruesome OD look though, you could have worn a Norwich City scarf or a Liverpool one - there were a fair few of them too (which meant that I had to park about a mile and a half away and walk in the rain )

I looked more like Eric Saade 2010 than Carola

I left skinny jeans back in 2009 with my emo/alternative phase for company.

I love skinny jeans but I don't think they're right for straight guys TBH. As for me they're the only type of jeans I'll ever wear, I hate straight leg they're just way too pedestrian for my liking.

Can't you just wear a pair of tights or leggings?
