Pineapple cider sounds really nice.

Can you still buy Vodka Mudshakes? For those that don't know they were basically milkshakes with vodka and they were lush.
You can round my neck of the woods but the only time I touch voddy is when it's in a Tino...........*drools*

On the topic of tonic, anyone else find it absolutely repulsive?

I think so, unless it's got gin in it. It seriously gives me the boke

I don't like tonic water unless it's with a hint of lemon.

I love it! I blame the quinine in it - it's some sort of anti-malarial drug isn't it? And I have to take those every day for my Lupus, so I blame them for my love of voddy/gin + tonic! (I usually only drink Christmas and Eurovision though - and never port since Oslo!)

Really Anne? You don't really drink?

Is it rude that I'm surprised by that?

Do I sound pished all the time then?!

I went off it when I was up the duff, and never really got back there .... and the stuff I see at work regarding drinking related issues means that I don't really fancy it most of the time

Of course, you'd be hard pressed to find me sober during any of Eurovision week, but that's a speshul occasion

No, I'd never really thought about it. I just assume everyone drinks, unless they state otherwise. That all makes sense though, so you're off the hook.

Drinking during Eurovision is a nightmare i.e. when I had 2 glasses of prosecco during SF1 last year, and accidentally voted for San Marino.

I remember the port incident so well.

Remember in 2010 when I missed half the results due to and cava and port nightmare? Hubster had to tell me the voting through the toilet door

Natures way of telling you to always have enough cava in the house, so as not to have to neck half a bottle of vintage port in 15 mins at the start of voting

On a happier note, haven't touched port since

EDIT: Chickens remembers!! Oh, it was bad, I couldn't even celebrate winning a wodge of cash on Romania

That's exactly why I don't drink at Eurovision.

That needs to be remedied! We're having Cheeky Vimtos at the DS meet-up.

I remember hearing about it all. I didn't realise it was quite that bad though. Poor you!

With the other half being up the duff I'm supposed to be off the booze too.

I stick to it........until she has a night away at her folks or something and I make up for the two weeks of sobriety.

Let's face it tho, it's blatantly obvious what I'm up to as i always seem to be ill the days she comes back

No doubt I'd be the youngest by a reasonably large margin.

You know what road I live on now don't you?

I think it would be quite fun, although I'd never be willing to actually approach you if I did see you, I actually shop at my Waitrose myself so it would just be an awkward situation consisting of us being next to each other in the que.

Besides, I wouldn't recognise you although I'm sure you'd recognise me if you saw me, there aren't many people like me in Ipswich.

You and Nathan, yes. I'm pretty sure the whole world knows about that by now.

There aren't many like me in Ipswich either (I have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs)
