I think, as a surprise, Britain's Got Talent would've been preferable.

A dog wins BGT? Maybe we should start sending dogs to Eurovision.

We did. We sent a sour faced Pug in 1997 and she won.

Fair enough, I haven't been watching. I'd love it if the EBU overturned the rule not allowing animals on stage.

That's horrific and so sad!

Hamsters are lovely pets

It'd never happen... I'm imagining a Blue Peter-esque Lulu the elephant mishap. Imagine Rambo Amadeus' donkey shitting all over the place!

Laka tried to take the chicken from his NF performance to Belgrade with him but they didn't allow it sadly.

It was a powerful lesson that the Russians are a breed apart...I kid!

I had another hamster that bit me one school morning. My Dad was waiting for me and my sister in the car and when I got there, he asked why I was whinging. He obviously misunderstood my explanation because when my sister got in the car, he told HER off for biting me!

That made me giggle!

Wagner started biting me whenever I tried to pick him up out of his cage in the months leading up to his death, looking back he was an ungrateful little bugger who I wasted money on feeding. Nothing like my old hamster Honey who I got for my 10th birthday. When she died I buried her in an Earl Gray tea box.

I did something fairly unusual this morning, I couldn't sleep atall last night so at 4 o'clock I thought I'd go for a little walk through the countryside as the sun was rising. It was wonderful, not a single other human in sight, all I could hear was the sound of birds singing and the trickling of the river. The fields were misty and looked amazing. Came across all sorts of creatures like rabbits, horses and of course foxes. My Ugg boots were soaked with dew and my feet were wet and freezing but it was worth it.

I love early mornings, the best time of the day especially at this time of year when it gets light so early.

Absolutely, the weather is fantastic and although I'm expecting a bit of rainfall tomorrow and tuesday I think this cold and wet miserable weather is slowly on it's way out.

That sounds brilliant!

I love coming home from a night out when it's light and walking through my street when it's completely and totally deserted.

I also love sitting in my back garden at about 5am with a cup of tea, and seeing the mist and hearing the silence before the day starts. There's some magical about the very early morning.

I just want it to be sunny, Anne. Spring is my favourite month and I've been so disappointed by how wet it has been it gets me all excited to get a bit of sunshine.

And that sounds like a terrible shift, good luck getting any sleep!

Absolutely! It's not a time of day we see that often so it seems fairly unusual to us, I just couldn't get over how peaceful it was. Might do it again some time.

Woke up hungover today but then remembered 3 things

1) Last day of football season
2) Brilliant F1 race lined up
3) Rehearsals for Semi 1

This is shaping up to be a perfect day. Even your non football fans keep your fingers crossed for Newcastle, stick a boot into the southern biased media who always right us off: p

It's much better than the domination of the previous few years. It's helped that the mid table teams are much better than they have been in the recent past; it gives the whole season a competitive edge.

I'm so happy about the result.

I must have missed a good race, then.
