Yeah I think might just whistle Satellite. Surely all Germans know that song.

Next time I go to London I'm definitely getting the train straight to the centre. This is beyond boring

A quick update on how the sweepstake at work went ... two words - hot cakes!

However, I was left with just Malta and Macedonia waiting to be picked out and even with my advanced selling skills I couldn't persuade anyone that these were worthy contenders. So I hat to buy them myself!

I therefore have Greece, Malta and Macedonia as my picks - joy ....

My favourites were picked out by my sargeant, my friend slutty laura, another supervisor who was involved in a sex scandal a couple of years ago and one of the new call takers!

Anne, you and Macedonia are linked for life now! I wouldn't fancy my chances with them in sweepstake but I'd be very proud to have Kaliopi! Very contentious having Macedonia AND Greece.

3 shifts at work until I break up for Eurovision. Hurry up!

(Also, check you out, 11,000 posts!)

Your workmates sound like a blast, particularly love the sound of slutty Laura

I did write Macedonia didn't I? I meant Montenegro

Yeah, my colleagues are pretty darn good (although I doubt we'd still be friends if laura saw what I call her, but it's purely to differentiate between her and another laura!)

Thanks for the congrats - I'm a chatty little thing

And after tonights night shift, I have early shifts on Sunday and Monday, and then I'm outta here for 8 days!!!

Oh dear, at least it's not as bad as...oh, wait, you prefer that one!

To be more PC, you could call slutty Laura, Laura and the Lovers!

Might catch on .... little by little

Can't wait to read about Anhri's rehearsal tomorrow, I have high hopes!

I still haven't caved - other than 10 seconds of Montenegro ... that was painful!

Glad it went well Anne. I'm gonna start mine on Thursday I think. I would love to get Greece!

I also caved. But it was a deliberate decision. Everyone who's been watching the rehearsals seems to be throwing around their own opinions like nobody's business. And I had to see for myself just how informative the rehearsal footage actually is. So I watched about 3 seconds of Cyprus, before deciding it was completely pointless.

I have no desire to see any Eurovision footage until next Tuesday at 8pm.

I don't think you're missing much rehearsal wise really. I've watched only a couple of today as I don't think the first half of semi 2 is really that strong...

But it's funny as i've noticed that some people will be like "That vocal was fantastic! Way to go [artist]" and literally the next post will be like "Those vocals were dreadful!!"

Can't wait for Tuesday!!! I'll be done with another year of my degree and have Eurovision to focus on for purely the rest of the week!

I had an awful Eurovision dream last night. It was the Sunday morning after the contest, but for some reason I'd missed it. I kept trying to watch it, but was constantly interrupted. My dad kept giving my spoilers - saying "the one with hair won". It was very distressing.

Oh, and Estonia topped the jury vote.

Decided to create a twitter account so I can just talk about Eurovision mostly . Can't really on my normal twitter account as my friends would ridicule me

So feel free to add me or re-add me if you have already had me

Oh I had a Eurovision dream last week. The top 4 ended up being Switzerland, Georgia, Lithuania and Denmark

In the midst of everything, this seems to have gone largely unnoticed. Care to elaborate a wee bit Jordan?

Had a weird dream the other week. At the end of the voting, Sweden and Romania were tied on top. After countback of voters, number of 12s, 10s, etc, they couldn't be separated and they were announced joint winners. 2013's Eurovision was shared between the two countries. The semi-finals were held in Romania whilst the final was in Sweden. The semi-finalists performed in Bucharest and the 10 qualifiers in each were affectionately labelled (in Eurovision fan circles, such as this) as "Direkt til Globen"

Just realised that a key theorist I had to namecheck in my exam yesterday is not, as I confidently put in my answer, dead.

Damn it! I'm banking on him keeling over before I lose a few marks when the papers get marked in June.
