^ I've had a craving recently for Marmite, I can't stop thinking about the stuff.

What exactly causes cravings during pregnancy?

Anne and a paragraph featuring the word sucking.........

My greatest put down happened many years ago when I was at college and working as a checkout chick at Safeways in the evening's. A customer bellowed at me

"Oi checkout boy. Where's the vegetables?"
"I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with your family" I replied.

Still got told off though....

Haha!
I've always wanted to talk back to the male customers that address me as 'sweetheart' or 'love', it's such an arrogant attitude to have. It makes me growl.

I'm not sure - something about your body requesting certain vitamins or minerals, although I don't think that there's much goodness in a McMuffin!

Before this job, I did 6 weeks on Tesco's checkout after being made redundant from my high powered insurance job - it was an eye opener when some old dear screamed at me cos there were no trifle sponges on the shelves..I suggested she buy a madeira cake and chop it up herself and she made an official complaint about me *sighs*

Sometimes, the public I deal with now are more reasonable!!

Might be different because I'm male but I quite like it when I get called generic terms of endearment!

Not when the men are old/unattractive/scruffy/pervy/rude/all of the above.

Do you think I should just tell them 'the truth'?

Someone messages me on facebook and says we used to talk years ago and went to the same college as me.

Either I have a shit memory (which I have) or this message is going to be used as evidence on crimewatch in a few months

This is something that has always confused me.

In England do most people go to college and then Uni? Up here it tends to be one or the other.

And I'm slightly addicted to the new Scissor Sisters song. Definitely an idea for a fantasy song

Yeah its college then uni down here, then more then likely a dead end job where your degree is worthless

I actually was thinking this the other day, its not a good sign for the new season if i'm having the same song ideas as you

Amy Mcdonalds new one is really good too

Someone just posted this on twitter

https://www.facebook.com/nicholas.la...50793227836174

I normally don't have strong views on gay marriage as I don't really believe in marriage of any kind if your not religious, but that's just my view and defiantly don't object to anyone showing their love for each other.

But it annoys me that single mindless like this is expressed by this MP. The way he says

'So what will happen to parents who because of religious, or philosophical beliefs take their children out of lessons?'

At school I learnt about various religions and had a fair few Muslim friends and they also learnt about various religions. No one was took out of lessons ect because of this, so why would they for gay marriage being told. I don't know much about politics, but it is showing what a failure this coalition is if a liberal government have some major power and are struggling to get a movement such as this through.

Rant over

Posted a thread in the GD part of the forum about the above. Already had one rude-ish reply

'Another gay marriage thread'

Found in the rare times when I venture outside of the Eurovision threads to just reply politely as people just seem to look for arguments

Mine is Chicken Parmo with potato wedges & garlic dip from the pizza takeaway.

As I mentioned a couple of months ago, I tend to stay well away from the GD forum, some horrible bigoted people in there.

People have been Ok so far, but there is always someone lurking to arguing against any point.

In other news, having a Eurovision twitter is quite cool. Only post about eurovision and only really have eurovision people, a few news sites and footballer sites added.

Makes me realise I don't give a flying do dar about what some of my friends tweet about .

I'm slightly obsessed with another new song that I keep hearing, and it's going to be my entry in the first Fantasy contest of the season - if someone gets in before me and picks it, I will have a proper diva strop, so i'm not going to say what it is

I have a perfect German back up if the worst happens though!

I don't know what to do with myself today - any ideas? Nothing too spensive please and thank you!
