Pleased to hear that you've made a decision about the first dance bb geek - it's a tough thing to do

Not so tough for me and Mr BBAnne - there were two songs that were "our" songs, and one of them was Sympathy For The Devil by the Rolling Stones, not the most appropriate first dance ever, so we went with the other one

I agree, it's great to know that patriotism is still going strong in the UK.

Ugh, Terry Wogan.

Absolutely. It's so great to see British patriotism instead of English, Scottish and Welsh patriotism which, personally, I don't like.

Follow you, follow me by Genesis (quite apt as we married 13 years after first getting together, he was quite the little stalker - before laws preventing that sort of thing were passed )

That's so sad

It's a benign tumour, so hopefully she's in a treatable position.

I love Sheryl!

Continued from the main thread:

I liked Pete up until towards the end. There was a bit where he was saying something along the lines of him having a dream he'd win and if he didn't he wouldn't believe in God anymore. I thought it was revoltingly manipulative!

This year's housemates in 3 words each (including some cheaty hyphenation):

Adam - Dudley via LA
Arron - Dull but pretty
Ashleigh - Vile Essex girl
Benedict - Teacher cum pornstar
Caroline - Posh, bad hair
Chris - Underwear too tight?
Conor - Irish meat head
Deana - Brummy Indian Beauty-Queen
Lauren - Tractor Karate Kylie
Luke A - Nadia in reverse
Luke S - Fancies himself awfuly
Lydia - Wannabe-diva Scott-Lee fiance
Sara - Tall Scottish model
Scott - Gay posh peroxide
Shievonne - Ex Playboy Bunny
Victoria - Evil eyed MILF

Oh and in regards to Sheryl Crow...I have one of her song titles tattooed on my arm!

Strong Enough
Good is Good or
My Favourite Mistake are my guesses

"She has Evil Eyes" was the best nomination reason ever

Not Run Baby Run?

At least Victoria got a reason...why was Lydia nominated? Beyond 'I was sitting next to her' I haven't heard one yet.

Fudd gets it in one!

I wonder if Deana turned around and said "I nominate Conor because he's Irish, Adam because he's black and Scott because he's gay..." BB would accept those as valid reasons?!

I think Lydia being nominated was a case of wise prescience, what an irritating cow she is!

Finally got round to emptying my betting account and collecting my winnings from Baku! I made a profit of £8.75.. Thanks Sabina!

Question : They've now credited me with my free £10 bet, which I think has to be used before Stockholm next year

So, what should I bet on?

I'm thinking the Canadian GP this weekend, they have a decent looking 6/1 on Vettel and an even more decent 10/1 on Button

I know some of you have some knowledge of F1, what do you think?

EDIT: I've put half of it e/w on Maldonado at 40/1

I'd say Rosberg for a podium finish would be a good bet.

Why not try a few bets on the Euros? Denmark ate a good outside bet IMO

The way this season has worked out so far, you could put a bet on a Caterham to get a podium and still have a good chance of collecting

Good point

Maybe a seventh different winner as a bet?

Rosberg is 13/2, and they give you 1/5th odds for e/w .. I did wonder!

Might have a look at football, Denmark you say bbg? hmmm - I don't like them as a Eurovision country, and that clouds my judgement!

Denmark are 80/1

France are a good Euro 2012 bet. They're unbeaten in yonks and still available at 10/1 in some places!

I think they are so high as they are in the so called group of death. If they get through that you never know.

How about England not to get through the group? I think that's a good shout(not just because I'm Scottish )

We're going to see the Olympic torch tomorrow as it passes the street round the corner from us. There have been thousands lining the streets in England. You just know we'll be the only ones their

Dont you just hate it when Pizza takeaways con you out of something you ordered?

It may only have been a 50p tub of garlic sauce but I was still conned out of it.

My local (San Marino!) are always forgetting a side here or there. They come back if you let them know they've crapped up, although it does ruin the synergy of the meal!
