If it's any help, my stock answer for late night advice seekers is "Sleep on it and see how you feel in the morning".

Talking of advice, does anyone ever venture into the advice forum on here.
I do occasionally but people don't seem to take my pearls of wisdom in the way they were intended. |

If you go in there how you were the other night, I'm not surprised.
![]() ![]() The Advice forum does throw up a few gems that I wish, but sincerely doubt, were actually real scenarios. |

Has anyone ever had any ghostly experiences. I am more then convinced my house is haunted. All of this stuff has happen over 15 years of living here.
- When we first moved in my mam seen a man standing in what is now my room, she shouted for my dad but then by the time he got there he had just vanished. - Also when we moved in my dad was putting up a mirror on the wardrope. He was the only one in the house, went downstairs to get a different screwdriver and the mirror was at the other size of the fairly large room. - One time I was in my room facing my computer and I here someone shout 'Paul'. So I go to go downstairs and then remember my parents were out at the shop. I sat terrified for 30 minutes and then told my mam and she said so calmly, 'I didn't want to say anything but before I left I thought I seen someone in the bathroom.' Seriously freaked me out. - One morning I woke up and one half of my curtains were open which was weird as I closed them the night before. What freaked me out more was exactly one week later I woke up and my computer chair was at the other side of my room - My dad fell on the landing once and bruised all his ribs on one side and still claims to this day someone pushed him I believe the paranormal or at least something we don't understand. Never really feel scared in the house, except before. Went to the toilet and heard a creek on the stairs, so as I was planning to go downstairs to get a drink,I hear 3 really quick bangs like on metal. Might been outside but in my head I visioned someone banging angrily on the sink in the kitchen....I quickly got back into bed

Well basically, I found out that this guy I'd previously been seeing was seeing someone else at the time and they broke up cos of me and him, I only found out last night when the other guy told me, and he was having sex with someone in London too. I've had an argument with the guy I was seeing and he's pretty much denying everything, but I'm feeling majorly annoyed because I don't appreciate being used like that, & it means I'm now not gonna get enough sleep lol.
/rant. Sorry felt very angry earlier, I know I'll regret posting this in the morning. I am genuinely a happy guy I promise!

My mum got my Dad to check under the floorboards and didn't find anything and I could still hear the rustling and clunky noises during the middle of the night. Today, the house is abandoned, looks a state and the garden is completely overgrown. I hate seeing my childhood home in such a state but maybe the last occupants left because they experienced the same thing! Quote:

If people like ghost stories, read that "Creepiest Thing To Ever Happen To You" thread in General Discussion. Gave me sleepless nights for days, some of them stories.

There was something weird about my dad's house too, even though it's less than 15 years old. The kitchen floor is laminate wood, so any furniture being moved about can be heard from upstairs. One night I was lying in bed and I knew everyone was upstairs asleep, but I heard the chairs in the kitchen being dragged across the floor. It's a really distinctive sound, so it definitely wasn't the wind!

Having to walk up my dark staircase and through the long dark hallway* into my bedroom after reading that thread is a mighty challenge. *=The light bulb doesn't work.

Red wine and coke sounds really weird but I'll give it a go sometime...
My usual drink is JD and coke. Or beer. Peroni is great stuff. Can't drink Malibu at all, it's way too sweet for me.
