Saw the Olympic Torch today, went right past my Waitrose. The atmosphere really was amazing, such a year to feel patriotic.

The olympic torch went past the end of my street a few weeks ago. I got a free diet coke. Good times.

Funnily enough I'll be seeing more of it next week in Bournemouth, maybe this time I'll be more successful in obtaining a free diet coke.

I agree Anne! My bus up to ASDA was cancelled on Wednesday because they had to run a special "Olympic Torch Relay" bus service instead and there was nobody on it! All a load of faff about nothing in my opinion!

Hope she's ok.

We never let ours out overnight anymore. He gets in to a habit of fighting with foxes and he's nearly 10 so he's at the age I think one might really harm him

Hope kittykat comes back ok phil, Murray The Wonder Dog is 15 this weekend, it's so awful seeing them age isn't it? He just sleeps all day now, waking briefly for a quick run around and a bit of dinner, and a morsel of cheese if he's lucky

The amount of people out on the streets was pretty awesome by all accounts, massive amounts of emergency services were mobilised for it, so its nice that everything's all normal now

My cat is ok, my mum let her in this morning before she went to work, she was soaked apparently but that's her own fault.

my other cat is a fighter I've lost count in the amount of times we have taken him to the vets last time he had a claw stuck in his head, he's massive though and is often compared to a puma

yeah it is awful seeing pets age but hopefully they have a good few years left before they have to check in to the farm.

Yeah my Dog is about to turn 15 in September. All he seems to do is sleep too. He has went deaf though, which I think he secretly enjoys as he can sleep without being woken up .

Its sad seeing them so old but i'm happy in most aspects he's still fighting fit

Sorry to bring back the Big Brother chat but tonight was just WONDERFUL. I was seething with rage when the four of them were in the diary room and then took immense pleasure when two of earth's biggest idiots brought down the earth with a kick in the balls on the way. How magnificent to see the truly glorious Deana, who sat alone in the living room whilst everyone else was huddled together, walk away with the most votes! Just brilliant! And now all the morons will have to re-evaluate their positions in the house now that Arron the idiot is dead and Queen Dean(a) has arrived! BB is once again in its glory days!

That was the best big brother moment in so many years

Deana and Sara's reaction was brilliant.

Kinda glad Arron went as I believe he could have gained some popularity. Connor no chance.

Who'd have thought two girls could beat two guys in a BB vote

Deana's screaming and crying was brilliant, and Sara is my new found second fave after Lydia was burned at the stake last week.

And an Asian girl at that! Thankfully the BB audience isn't the racist hotpot that it used to be (aside from Conor's brain-dead fans).

I do! I'll miss it, but it'll be nice to have a change of scenery.

Is anyone watching the mens doubles final at Wimbledon?

I hope I don't put the jinx on it but if you like British tennis put it on now!
