That is all. ![]() I hate films. I've been to the cinema 5 times in about ten years and that was for a special occasion, Harry Potter |

My job hunt really isn't going well...I'm getting desperate. I've even been turned away by MacDonalds. They did tell me I was overqualified though, so for that I'm proud!

Just got back from seeing the new Spider-Man film which was actually pretty bloody good. My love for Emma Stone knows no bounds.

Thunderstorms are incredible. One just passed directly over our house, reminded me of the hurricanes which hit the Caribbean (as long as you substitute palm trees for pine trees

Very noisy isn't it?! I fear for our electricity ..... every time it goes, it seemingly gets fixed with a single strand of human hair
that sounds like a painful solution!

I think we're in the thick of it now! Blimey, that's a lot of rain
![]() Our driveway was flooded after 7 minutes or so and I worked out in the storm we had about 2cm of rain in about 4 minutes. |

Hey- can any trainy bods help me with this!
I'm going to see my brother in sunny Bolton on Saturday, but am gonna meet a few friends in Manchester first (as Picadilly is my change over station.) Now, I've done this run loads of times and normally go straight from my train that terminates at Picadilly, to my train that goes to Bolton (it's a 15 min journey tops) What I want to know is- if I pre-book my tickets and get a 2 part ticket, will it just be my ticket to Manchester Picadilly that is time restricted, with my one to Bolton being an all-day thing? I imagine it will be because obviously they can't specify a time for me to catch that train as my train to Manchester might be delayed or something? |

When I say "hear it again", what I actually mean is that the sky outside my bedroom window just lit up. It must be a massive one if I can still see it and you're getting rained in on.
Our driveway was flooded after 7 minutes or so and I worked out in the storm we had about 2cm of rain in about 4 minutes. I'm on an early shift in the morning, so have to try and sleep through this now *tuts* |

My friend does this quite a lot and I'm 95% certain the second part won't be time restricted.

Thankfully, I travel to Manchester from Sheffield almost weekly when I'm at Uni, so I know a few ways round it. Booked an off-peak ticket which means I can use it all through the day until 22:35 so will just get the 17:15 to Bolton. Panic over- I thought I'd have to buy about nineteen tickets to avoid arrest by the traffic police! |
