Booked an off-peak ticket which means I can use it all through the day until 22:35 so will just get the 17:15 to Bolton.

Panic over- I thought I'd have to buy about nineteen tickets to avoid arrest by the traffic police!”

Do they usually have reservations on the Bolton train? If not there's no way it can be time restricted.

None of my tickets are seat reserved and usually from Picadilly to Bolton it's so crammed your ticket never gets checked!

I was a latecomer to it too. I was a bit, "is that it?"

I've never been that struck with it either to be honest. A lot of hype over ordinary food, not exactly cheap either.

I like Nando's! But probably cos I only go there about once a year...actually make that once every other year - I'm not big on going out .....

Given the choice, I'd rather go to Zak's

Same, although I went there a few times last month, one of the times for my birthday, and it was a bit more expensive than I thought. Yummy though

Carrying on from GD

Thankfully, no real stories about my parents possibly having a sex life, and for that I was eternally grateful .... until ...

About 2 years ago, my parents remember are substantially older than most, in their 70's. They were pottering around my vegetable garden and Mum was picking bits and bobs, Hubster then asked if she would like some runner beans

Mum: You know me, I never say no!

Dad : Yes you do

(sound of me gagging in the background)

Seriously freaked me out!

It was £8.40 for a chicken burger with chips and tiny wee tub of coleslaw. I was repulsed

I remember when I was 11 and I was on a camping trip in Cornwall with my family, we were in a pub and I'd just come back from using the toilet.

"I saw a condom machine in the toilets and it said that the condoms had different flavours but why do condoms need to be flavoured?"

My parents felt very awkward so my mum said...

"Well it's for when a couple want to get a little bit more intimate"

To which I replied...

"Oh so have you and Dad ever used them before?"

I never got a response to that question and my Mum just went bright red whilst I sat there looking innocent and curious.

I used to think that babies were made by blood crawling across the floor - obviously wanted to maintain my innocence

It's a rip-off! I'd much rather go to a pub and have a proper meal

I was also disappointed by nandos, made wayyy better chicken myself

I was gonna post something on the subject of food myself. Just started eating healthy (god help me working at kfc haha) but really got me thinking about one of my best friends

She was easily 14 stone and stood about 5 foot 1. She was probably one of the most unhealthiest people (apart from myself ) that I have ever known but also so fun and presumingly happy with life.

Then what felt like overnight she started losing weight, eventually I found out she was bulimic. She lost about 4 stone in about 5 months. Now she weighs about 7 stone and god bless her she looks terrible.

The saddest part though is the girl before and after the weight loss are like two totally different people. Her full personality has totally changed and as cliche as it may sound, I look at pictures of her now and then and it really makes me feel like I have lost a good friend and gained a friend who is never gonna be happy in her current self.

Not seen her for few months now, keep trying to meet up with her but something always pops up. Coincidently that coincides with her getting 'engaged' to a boy who shes known for 3 months. Think shes trying to avoid me as she knows i'm one of her friends who won't just nod and pretend to be happy for her when I believe its absurd. But this is just one of he acts which seemed to happen when she developed this eating disordered and change of personality

Wow I woffled on then . Has anyone else had friends or close ones with eating disorders? Its so sad to see someone do it to themselfs

7 stone is 44 kilos.
5 ft 1 is 1.55 metres.

My sister-in-law was on the steroids a few years back and ended up looking like the Michelin Man My bro didn't help matters by always saying "Full Moon" every time she bent over.

Watching the TdF......some absolutely stunning chateaux on tonight's screening. The SBS commentators are great, they give a potted history of all the towns and places that the race passes through...........Le President has just appeared driving along too.
