I think Japan was right to appeal, and I think the were right to get the xilver.
Of course not the way to do it, but its the judges fault and not Japans. Getting a bronze instead of silver isn't *that* bad, but getting 4th instead of 3rd hurts. Feel very soory for UKR team

Grrr... I really wanted to go to the Olympic Park on Saturday. I've got a ticket for the women's badminton final in Wembley and assumed when I bought my ticket over a year ago that it would give me access to the park (in fact I didn't think you'd need a ticket for the park, I just assumed that it would be open to the public, with security checks of course). Now I've found that not only will my ticket not give me access but that I also won't be able to buy one on the day and they're all sold out online! If I'd have known you'd need an extra ticket for it I would have bought one ages ago or would have gone for an event in the park itself. So annoyed. Anyone got any spares?! 
Argh. My mum's birthday is on Saturday and I have to find a gift for me and a gift for my brother. So far, I have the "Now That's What I Call No. 1's" but I need another one. Unfortunately, she seems to have everything she'd listen to/watch already!

Tony Estanguet had an excellent run in the men's C1 canoe slalom final today. He fully deserved the gold. Germany's Sideris Tasiadis was brilliant as well; his silver was well earned.
