Praise for Kindle Support!!
Not often we seem to praise company's customer services these days, but Kindle support gets a big thumbs up from me.
A few weeks back my daughter accidently purchased books on my kindle and i didnt know for ages as i hadnt really bothered with it, rang them and they refunded me all of the books which i thought was great service as it wasnt there fault. Now a crack has appeared on my kindle on the casing and they are sending a free replacement straightaway, no problems at all. I know its my right to have faulty goods replaced (not had it long) but the ease in which it was sorted out was very good! Anybody else had a positive experience with them?? |

I was the same as you, my Kindle just froze, I phoned them at 4am, not expecting to get a reply, but did. The advisor talked me through several fixes none of which worked and said theyd send me out a new one.
I phoned at 4am Wed, the new Kindle arrived free of charge at 0830 on the Thursday

My Kindle simply stopped working when it was three months out of warranty
I emailed Amazon, thinking that I may get them to offer me a refurb unit cheaply, which I'd read they do (I believe it's £40)I had a phone call from them within - literally - two minutes of sending the email. After trying a couple of things to revive the Kindle, without success, the guy said that despite being out of warranty he'd make a one-off exception, and send me out a new Kindle free of charge! It's not the first time that I've had excellent customer service from Amazon either. Which is probably why I spend so much money with them! |

It's in Amazon's interest to replace the Kindle since they make more money on the books they sell through it than the device itself.
But Amazon is excellent for customer service, which is why they're always my first port of call when i want to buy anything. |

They're definitely one of the best for customer service. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with Amazon.

By far the best customer services ive ever dealt with. Ive probably spent £15 maximum on books since i got mine so they havnt made much money out of me. |

Daughter has had her kindle replaced twice with no problems.
Great customer service indeed .... but I am somewhat dubious about a product that fails twice in a year ![]() Dont get me wrong .... my wife also has a kindle and it hasnt failed so I am not stating that every kindle has faults ! Its a great product for the price ! |
