I was blown away by Elise, Reed, Eben and Haley singing The Night Has A Thousand Eyes.

I was so impressed by that, and must have watched it back 20 times, that it even had me nostalgically buying a 5-disc set of Manhattan Transfer CDs, because they reminded me of how slick they had been in their prime.
And Deandre, Jessica and Candice (the black girl who surprisingly wasn't put through), performing It Doesn't Matter Anymore. The vocal arrangement and feel is like watching a classic piece of 70s music TV.

As good as some of the contestants are I don't think they've individually delivered a 'moment' or had an impact as big as the best of the group auditions. Not so far.
It's had me hankering after a special 'American Group Idol' series!
