I think we did, considering the fact a few people decided not to show up often, which affected a bit, but those of us who turned up worked hard.

Two of you mention 'a few people' not contributing - was that just 21stCenturyBoy, or were there others?

And how was Katie as a PM?

Hey sorry something came up I'm on my phone I should be answering the questions from now.

21st century boy didn't do anything on the task but apparently he was posting on the other sections of DS. I also felt Hutchy_Muse could have added more. He missed several meetings and the task I assigned him to do (logo) wasn't completed so someone else had to do it despite him being given a long amount of time to do the task so therefore he contributed nothing to the end product.

21stCenturyBoy was the only one to not properly turn up I think, however I'm struggling to think what Hutchy contributed to the task.

And Katie was a wonderful PM, set tasks for everyone promptly.

I think Hutchy_Muse did not contribute much to the task as well and his part of the task was not received.

Katie as a project manager, was fairly good. She was enthusiastic and delegated tasks so that everyone knew what they were doing. There were a few issues but overall we did a great job and she was good in managing everyone.

All right, then - let's look at what both teams came up with.

Reflections, your concept involved two teams being set 'challenges' and aided by a celebrity mentor, correct? Who came up with this concept?

I also noticed that you faced criticism for not having an 'original' enough idea; do you think your concept was revolutionary enough to be the 'next step' for reality TV?

The idea was formed collaboratively, from what I heard - I wasn't online when the final idea was put forward, but I trusted my team in their implementation of it.

As for the revolutionary aspect of it, I feel my answer to that question yesterday sums up our views that Versus builds on existing ideas, fine-tunes them and differentiates itself from them to make a new experience for the viewer.

I certainly think so - although we took elements from other shows, the end product was something very new - it's the next step because there are no lies, it's all genuine and it's not a load of wannabes - this is about people with real ability.

The concept was originally created by Gav, and then me, David,Gav and Justin modified the format, with slight assistance from Harry, Amroussi and Louise, so overall it was a collaborative effort, and something we are all proud of!.

I honestly believe it could be the next big thing, it has a huge focus on teams, and the addition of the celebrities would definitely pull in viewers. In my opinion, it honestly would be a ratings hit, and I think it could be a huge show in the future.

I really feel like it was. Why not mix together the most successful elements of reality TV? Perhaps they're not new concepts but it's a fresh way of using them.

I suggested a concept in group discussion, which we tried to modify - when we tried to research into what people thought of it, the response was fairly negative, so the idea was collaboratively edited to something more in line with what our research indicated was wanted.

While the idea probably isn't 'revolutionary' or ground-breaking, it's fun, and genuinely has the potential to be something very watchable.

I missed the second concept first idea too, unfortunately.

But re: the second question; as I mentioned in my answers last night, the 'next step' for reality TV is all about moving away from the fame hungry participants that we see today and moving on to everyday people like you & I and making it really reality as opposed to biased, manipulated and twisted. 'Versus' definitely marks the 'next step'.

To be fair, I more than slightly assisted in the original discussion.

I agree with this, and I also feel that Amroussi and Harry contributed to the overal formation of the idea.

I agree, I think you and Amroussi both played a huge part in the first idea we had. Harry was very vocal with the second one, too.

Wasn't the concept that this derived from - two rival villages - originated by Gav, Haz and Amroussi, changed from another quite different idea of Gav's? The names you mentioned may have contributed to the final result, but you seem to have 'edited out' a big part of the process.

Fair enough. I did note that you put a lot of effort into responding to the market's concerns.

As for Team Viveza, your concept involved putting teams into a house and having them complete tasks to escape - who came up with this? And how did the idea evolve from the first discussion onwards?

Yes this was the case.

The idea was originally Gav's, and other ideas were thrown about by all members of my team, and yes, we all did modify the idea. But in my opinion, David/myself/Jag/Gav were at the forefront of the discussion, and after Amroussi's departure, as well as Louise's slight absence, and Harry's MSN troubles, we were the ones left to modify!

We had Force at first - obviously it received a negative response so we all came up with adaptations - we couldn't decide which to go with, so whilst I was put in temporary charge we did a spec - what do we really want from this show? From that we realised that the key issue was the disasters element involved with the show, so I came up with a replacement for this of varied skills - as inspired by Ant vs Dec: The Teams from Saturday Night Takeaway - and combined this with Gav and Amroussi's takes on the format of Force.

Could someone from Reflections describe how Force would have worked?

I think initially the idea's was Zak's (Satantel) and there was lots of discussion between me, Zak, Val (dondfan) and Naruto between adding things to our concept such as, tasks, celebrity versions, spin offs, different floors, teams rather than solo contestants. The four of us had a discussion and we ended up with the house idea and escaping the house rather than battling each other and I am happy with the end result we had.

Yes I watched you all discuss this on Thursday evening, and then the three of you change the concept on Friday afternoon; your PM seemed to edit out your contribution slightly!

The final idea you put more input however I gave a lot of ideas to the ideas before. Also if it wasn't for me and Gav's survey we would have probably kept our original idea...
