Florence + the Machine release the third single - 'Never Let Me Go' - from there second album 'Ceremonials' today. What are you're thoughts on the single and were do you think it will chart?

Great song but sadly I don't think it will chart at all in the top 40 unless there is considerable promotion.

I'm just gutted that we've had no B-sides this time around, The Lungs singles had some great hidden gems

It's a great song but just like No Ligh, No Light it will likely miss the Top 40, shame.

Sadly, I agree that it'll probably miss the Top 40, which is a great shame as it is a fantastic song. I also agree that the B-sides to the Lungs singles where brilliant - I especially liked Are You Hurting The One You Love?

why are people so surprised she misses the top 40 she is predominantly an albums artist out of all her singles

Dog Days
Rabbit Heart
You Got the love/dirtee love
What the water gave me
Shake it out

reached the top 40 that is less than half her singles output where as her albums have both hit double platinum and number 1so whilst id love her singles to do well im content her albums get the recognition they deserve

I'm also quite sad at the lack of B-sides, and I actually would go as far as to say this is one of the weaker songs from Ceremonials. I would much rather have seen Spectrum or Only If For A Night released.

One of my favourite songs from the Ceremonials album!

I agree with others it's unlikely to do well in the charts as a single though.

Great song, crap video. Fingers crossed it will go top 10 as it deserves to.

It was just on BBC Radio 1 and as I was listening to it I noticed that it was edited really badly, snippets were moved around and it sounded a bit disjoined! Don't understand why though :L

Great song, crap video.
Her videos are always crap. Painfully so. I wonder why this is? Such visual songs with so many ways they could be translated to video...yet, as I said, her videos are always crap. Baffling.

I usually love her video's - I loved No Light, No Light, Never Let Me Go, Shake It Out, Drumming Song and RAbbit Heart's video!

Never Let Me Go is currently #158 on iTunes which is good considering it wasn't in the Top 200, while No Light, No Light has re-entered the Top 200 at #192 and Shake It Out still hasn't left the Top 200 since November and is at #102 and #156!

Florence has always been an album artist.

What I love about her, I'd rather have about 10 solid songs that would not chart at all, but the album do well.

Then have one decent song that gets #1 and the rest of the album to be tripe.

So at the end of it all Never Let Me Go debuted at #82 which is better than I thought it would do but it is the worst she has ever done!
