He's a lovely friend, is Ste. If you're one of the few people he likes, he treats you proper well.
Cos Doug's all lonely but Ste got some gloves (that he couldn't keep ahold of for FIVE MINUTES) and wanted some celebratory wine with him.
Also, yes, the pear mice. Ste did his best not to laugh at Doug's culinary skill after that disaster.

), it's very much a case of older, paternal Brendan and youthful, silly Ste.Yet here, somehow, Ste is the paternal, more adult one in the friendship and Doug is like a little boy. Who gets sassed at.

I did love Doug trying to persuade Tacksus to watch some nice slasher movies with him at Halloween, what with that and dead girlfriend comparisons I can't understand why someone hasn't snatched him up by now.
