Aaron won big brother because the public voted for him to win and he earned his 50k

30k for third place last year. At least it was a lots draw

50k for eighth place this year! At the press of a button

How times change.

The end!

Someone on main thread has stated they'll never forget how Aaron got Faye evicted .

I have just explained to them that it was actually Louise who put Faye up not Aaron and that all Aaron's vote meant was that Alex wouldn't have been up but the rest of the housemates would have if Louise had stuck to the plan and voted for Tom, instead of Faye. Some people just can't do the maths

BB is no longer about rewarding the winner as voted for by the public, it's about rewarding greed

The responsibility lies with BB really. I wouldn't blame anyone for pressing the button to win that amount. Conor fans would agree and everyone else disapprove. That would apply whoever it was.

The point is for me that he came eighth as opposed to winning winning as Aaron did. Anton came eighth last year!

Oh the thought

It seems like Deana is getting the same treatment as Aaron did.

It didn't work last year and I doubt it will this year.

Does anyone know if Aaron or Faye have any favourites among the current BB contestants or who they would like to win?

I know they've probably given up on BB altogether but I just thought someone may have heard something.

Same, I'll be so disappointed if she wins. Although this series is nothing on the last anyway, imo.

Thanks. I know they are trying to get away from it a bit because they, quite rightly, don't like the way they treat the housemates but I thought that their curiosity would probably get the better of them at some point. Both Aaron and Faye are people whose opinions I would respect

I think with Aaron and Jay you could have done, purely for both being entertaining? But I don't feel Deana's been that entertaining up until the past few nights, Conor and Arron made her relevant.

Conor and Arron made Deana relevant by shutting her down and bullying her.Her entertainment came from being dignified and raising above it.From what you are saying being loud and nasty to others is 'entertainment'.Aaron and Jay were rivals but there was no bullying and that is the difference.

I totally agree with you. I wouldn't blame anyone for pressing the button either if that opportunity was given to them on a plate it would be very hard to resist - it's BB that I'm angry with for rewarding someone who comes eighth equally to the winner. What I meant by rewarding greed is that they just offering money on a plate to a random housemate and changing the game from the public's favourite being rewarded to a housemate who in this case is not popular with the public being given half the prize money and then leaving the house !

Wasn't happy with Aaron getting only half the money last year either
