I agree, its a pity the thread got derailed.I wanted to know more about the production crew etc.
But when the sniping started, I knew Aaron would leave and don't blame him.
So many of his dislikers,a lot more than 3 lol maintain the forum supported him and there was no negativity.But as one poster said the main forum was mostly comprised of negative threads.
I know I was constantly defending him.
It was a good to hear from him, even for a short time.

Can anyone on here clarify something for me? I knew the story that Aaron got into his BB by pretending to be an arrogant ladiesman. I also know he had tried and failed before but I didn't realise he'd got to the case packed stage twice before and not been called to go in.

I'm confused as to how he could say he lied this time and pretended to be something he wasn't to get in if he'd got that close before. How could he fool them the last time if he was already known to them? Obviously the new series was on C5 rather than C4 but it was still run by Endemol and presumably at least some of the same people were involved in recruiting the housemates.

Can I also say that I believe Aaron's intepretation of events over the Jay-Lou romance. He never said exactly when the time was he saw Louise go back to Jay (understandably after a year it would be difficult to remember exactly when it was) and he also never said that she went back to him purely because it was popular, just that the events coincided and that it may just have easily as been because the cheers reassured her that Jay was an ok guy or even have been purely coincidental.

I think he was very brave for facing the DS inquisitors and I for one appreciated it very much.

I would imagine that Aaron just amplified his personality from the other times and BB saw he was prepared play it bigger.
They all play a game in there,a game of smoke and mirrors and manipulation.Everyone plays, you play or you lose.The one with the best emotional/impulse control wins.
The main gambit is to blacken the competition and make yourself look good. Create a good v evil scenario and tarnish half of the opposition.Aaron has confirmed what I already thought of BB and has been very honest.

I agree. Funny thing about Aaron is he admitted he played situations a bit for air-time etc and a lot of people thought him cold and manipulative yet I think a lot of the reason he won is for the spontaneous stuff that he did that showed more of his character- the one-liners, the relationship with Faye which knocked him for six a lot of the time, his genuine affection for Mark, Harry and even Tom and Alex. For example, his 'making a cake' thing with Alex, yeah he played it for laughs but at the same time he gave her enough help to ensure they had a reasonably successful as well as funny outcome. He could have let her make a complete idiot of herself proving that she had no idea and laughed at her (along with everyone else including the BB team and many of the viewers) but he didn't. Overall he helped her get it right and just about edible.

Being intelligent made it easier for him to work out how to turn situations to his advantage and to suss out what the production team were up to on many occasions but I don't think that's entirely the reason he won. BB winners tend to be more rounded characters - as well as the smart, manipulative side which enabled him to outsmart BB on many occasions there's also a much softer, nicer side (his love for his son for example) and it was the whole package that turned him into a winner for me.

No surprise to see Lord Aaron supporting the best contestant in IAC...

Aaron is my fav BB Contestant ever (I spent a fortune using Facebook Credits like the rest of you, I'm sure, to make sure he won) but I can't believe no one has mentioned the parallells between the way Aaron was treated in BB & Chris Maloney has been treated in X Factor . Aaron was treated very badly from every media source known to man (especially that idiotic ex of Jade Goodey) and Chris has been treated exactly the same. Hasn't anybody else noticed the parallel?

I accidentally ended up on Aaron's facebook page (we have a mutual friend) and I just wanted to say how much I loved the Christmas photo (I adore that jumper!) and scrolling a bit further down the one of Aaron watching Faye while she's singing. It warms your heart looking at both of those photos
