Happy new year

How was your Uganda trip?

It was brilliant.I hadnt seen my family for 10 old years apart from my Mum 4 years. It nice to be at home and actually live with them.I caught up with old friends as well and took the children on safari. The children also got to know their father's family. My son didnt know his grandmother. The safari was paradise,we went to Uganda's largest National Park.I went there when I was 13yrs on a school trip,35 years later the place is still awesome. We also went to my Primary School and my daughter identified me in a pic of 1973 aged 9 yrs lol.I wanted the kids to have a proper African experience, the good and the bad,the city life, tourism, the village, ordinary living and that is what they got.

It is none of my business of course, but I see no point in all this and the Dr is just enjoying himself rather too much!

Well I guess it's clearly something Aaron feels strongly about if he feels he is being wrongly represented, and he wanted to respond to it sooner rather than later while it's fresh in people's minds. I didn't hear Jamie's interview. From what I gather he said aftercare is wonderul and didn't he also say Aaron is bitter because he allegedly didn't get want he wanted out of BB, and then there was also a comment about him being the only BB representative who talked to Aaron at the aftershow party. Did he say anything else?

Yes I guess it isn't exactly doing Doc's ratings any harm either

Jamie East said that Aaron was lying about the aftercare situation, that he (Jamie East) was the only person from Channel 5 to speak to Aaron at the wrap party and also insinuated that Aaron was bitter because he didn't become a TV star after Big Brother.

I don't blame Aaron for wanting to reply to the allegations. Personally I know whose viewpoint I would trust between Aaron and Jamie East - Aaron every time, no contest.

On Couch Potaoes, he's said Jay was on his way to win and Aaron's was a protest vote. Is there any reason to think that's true?

All the housemates are on their way to win until the moment comes when they are evicted.

Aaron got the most votes (to save) four times and the least votes (to evict) in the final.

Voters don't waste their money protesting, they spend it on supporting their favourite housemate.

Aaron was that housemate

Obviously not the whole story because Aaron was very popular throughout (good looking, funny, intelligent, articulate but apart from that I can't imagine why ) however, Mr Potato may have a point - the freezer incident didn't do Jay any favours and may well have swayed a number of votes against the 'salt of the earth' Geordie boy towards Aaron.

That's a misunderstanding of what I said. I did NOT mean it in that way, and you're also making too much depend on the exact wording.

Aaron was by far the most popular HM in polls here, and his popularity was such that when Aaron and Faye's supporters made up their mind to get Anton out in a 4-way to-save vote, they did it, giving Jem far more votes than her own popularity would have.

The freezer incident may have swayed some voters, but not enough to mean Aaron won on a protest vote, or that Jay had it sewn up if it hadn't been for the freezer thing.

Jamie East is entitled to his very selective opinion, but even he knows that most of what he says in relation to Aaron is his opinion alone and most is complete rubbish.
