Kesha 2nd official Studio Album Thread!
GagaKeshaMinaj

Ke$ha is releasing new material in May and I for one am extremely excited!!!!!!
I saw her live in July and she was really good! She filled up the O2 Acadamy (Birmingham) more than Jessie J did!
But I can't help thinking that no-one likes her! I haven't heard about her in the press for ages and I'm wondering whether she'll still be as big as she was TiK ToK or We R Who We R period?
I really hope she'll go number 1 but I have my doubts.

I'm excited

I used to think she's below average, but she's changed my mind completely! I loved 'Blow', I think it was one of the best electropop/ club songs of 2011 actually And then her Billboard Music Awards performance was great and the video for 'Sleazy 2.0' was really creative and funny, in a way that popstar aren't really used to delivering, so I'm hyped. At least she writes her own songs, which I respect her for

I really like ke$ha , she's one of those artists that are good, but underrated

People saying she can't sing, go listen to Dancing With Tears In My Eyes or Hungover then come talk again

I'm a massive fan of ke$ha was meant to see her live in London but couldn't go just a few hours before, was gutting! So excited for this new stuff, Cannibal is such a good album I don't skip through any of the tracks, think she is hilarious too.

I really like Ke$ha as well, she has always been pretty underrated but dont mind really. Im really excited to hear what she comes up with but, sadly her album has been pushed back according to Dr Luke with no fixed date for release.

I always enjoy listening to the Ke$ha albums. Infact, moreso than Britney, Rihanna and a lot of other similar artists.

I love Ke$ha! And I was at that Birmingham gig last summer too, it was amazing!

Very excited for her second album and have no idea what to expect. Pop? Dance? Rock? Or some crazy combination of all three?

Plus, she is genuinely hilarious.

I don't think Ke$ha is underrated at all Her EP kind of flopped, but her first album and all of the singles off of it had a lot of success.

Anyway, I'm glad she's taking her time with this album. I think it would have been safer to release her material around the beginning of the year, which would pretty much mark a 6-month break, but I hope the buzz is still there when her single is released

Ke$ha will get her time to shine, she's not "arrived" yet.

I like Ke$ha she is my guilty pleasure just hope her new material has some depth as she can come across as vapid.

This would be her 4th album as she had Animal and then Cannibal not forgetting I am the Commander and I command you to dance. She also has a album for her non-studio recorded songs. Love Ke$ha so much would love it if she actually came to Belfast again.

I class both Canibal and IATC/ICYTD as the same Album as Animal

Canibal was only sold as a package with Animal, it's really some sort of deluxe edition. Remix albums don't count as studio album to me as she didn't have to go to the studio to actually record it

Well it was like The Fame/The Fame Monster elsewhere and rightly so were sold as what they both are EP's but in the UK (not sure where else) they were sold as deluxe double discs with the original albums i.e the fame and Animal serving as the second disc hence why Gaga sold 2 million albums probs the same with Ke$ha as sales and chart run were then combined which is why they did it for more sales so Technically speaking Cannibal is a separate body of work but a continuation of the Animal sound and concept in exactly the same way as The Fame Monster.

And your right Remixes fall under the heading compilations so yes 1 studio album 1 EP and 1 remix four releases this will be her 2nd studio album i just hope she moves away from Animal and doesn't reapeat herself i feel she has alot more to give us
