Motorola V8 gold
I have have just acquired a newish Motorola V8 gold.
This phone never receives a signal strong enough to connect. I have checked this phone, literally along side my other Motorola V8, but this one works great, with strong reception. I have fitted a brand new Motorola battery to the newer V8, but as I thought, it makes no difference. Any ideas as to what maybe the problem? |

Are you trying to put a 3 sim card in.
IIRC my Dolce and Gabbana V8 was a 2G phone? 3 Sims won't work in non 3G phones. |

Thanks. Not sure what 3 Sims are!! I am just putting the same SIM card in as my other Motorola V8 Gold.
Can you kindly advise please? Sounds like this V8 may need to be repaired if your other one is working with the same configuration. |

He means SIM cards for the Three network.
Sounds like this V8 may need to be repaired if your other one is working with the same configuration. Thanks for your input. Yes, I did think that was what was needed, but asked in case I had missed something obvious. This morning it worked fine, but then turned it off for ten minutes, and 'No Service' message again. Must be something minor. |
